I haven't left feedback yet! Was considering something along the lines of 'Glad you are enjoying them!' You should see the feedback he's left for other people - it's even worse!!

Had a bid on another item since last post so very pleased :j

Oh yes and to give you a giggle (or it might make you feel sick!!!) Somebody left me really bizarre feedback today for a bra and thong set he won from me. It went like this:
excellent easy to get ur tongue in the side of the thong mmmmmm
Yuck, yuck, yuck!!! That is just wrong!!!!
so wrong but very funny though:rotfl:
Im having a good day with sales so far so very happy.
Got 78 listed, 18 of which will sell and an amazing 127 watchers on the items. Keeping fingers crossed for bidding war:D0 -
hi all,
I'd love to make money with e-bay but have been put off by all the tales of scammers and dishonest people. I have big money items (digital camera/ camcorder/ buggy/ DS and games/ PS2 games). I keep trying them on other local sites but am getting nowhere and can't afford to get ripped off.
GRRRR.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

It depends. I've had things that have loads of watchers and then no bids; I'm guessing that they are people with the same item wanting to know what kind of interest it has. On other stuff I've had no watchers and have had to relist several times and then often there is a bidding war at the end.
The items that have got watchers on should actually sell because of what they are - a lot of it is baby equipment that cost me a fortune but I'm selling for pennies.
Don't give up. If it doesn't sell, relist, perhaps drop the price a little.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

I've only ever had one scammer in 5 years of ebaying - don't let the scare stories put you off. You never hear about the millions of good buyers and sales. Well you do on here but otherwise you only hear bad things about ebayNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Floxxie, do you find toys sell well? Have only really sold clothes before x
It depends on the toy. Fisher Price seems to sell well and toys that have a character to them e.g. Thomas the Tank but often you don't know until you try and sell it. I've put stuff on for 99p that ended up going for silly money and I have no idea why because they could be purchased at plenty of shops.
Lego sells well - you just need to 'market' it correctly and not use RM to send a heavy amount - use a courier as I would rather pay £10 than £20 for postage - not that I was aggreived at the seller for this
Duplo will also sell well but make sure you actually set up a scene rather than dump it in a pile and then write something along the lines of 'I think it's all there' - I ended up with a Bob the Builder set that clearly was not all there and was useless.
If you have any of those Baby DVDs - is is called 'Brainy Baby'? - I sold some that I got free for loads.
If you take a look at completed listings for an idea and then make sure you take a good photo. I try and keep boxes for the toys (if I think the toy is going to survive being played with) and I keep instructions in a folder so will sell with those where I can.
I don't have any girls so can't comment on those toys but sure someone will have had experience of these.
Good luck!Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

There's no need to be put off by the scammers and dishonest people - they are a minority. There are things that would help you to make sure that you weren't scammed. If you take a look at the eBay board (Soolin's signature contains a link if you can't find it), there is a new to eBay thread which should answer your concerns.
I've sold a lot of high value items and haven't been ripped off.
You're welcome to join us to try eBay out. Perhaps you want to strat with lower value items to get a feel for it?Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Thanks Floxxie. I have a son too so it's all boys toys - never thought to keep the boxes but will do from now on!
I have got some of those DVD's somewhere so will give them a go too.
I know the idea is to sell unwanted items you have already but last Summer my local Primark were selling loads of clothing for £1 each. I spent £10 on maxi dresses and short skirts. Started them at 99p and almost all of the 10 items sold for nearly £10, I think I got about £94 in total. Was very pleased!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79
