Ok another 18 items sold
Two of which have been paid for - £110 after fees
I have also embarassed myself after selling an item which I thought didn't work to be told today that it works perfectly and thanks for the bargain :mad:
Have 75 items listed and only 1 bid -:mad: at this rate the fees will be outweighing anything I make!
Gingababe - hellloooo! I'm planning to sell my gold and silver for scrap, I'm going to use Hatton gardens I think. There's a thread or two about various firms and these seem really good.
Re watches, I'm not sure. Jewellers are always on the look out for these so I'm guessing there is a resell or scrap value somewhere but don't know who to.
PS games - yep eBay; it's a bit hit and miss but there are buyers.
CDs - try Amazon (or another site) first.
cassettes - not unless they are mega rare...
And the 100 listings - didn't Soolin mention that relists are counted? I don't know when the 100 runs from to though...Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Floxxie well done on what has sold. maybe the being thrown around in the post made it work again. You may get more sales Soolin was saying last week that she seems to be getting people bid wothout watching. I only get the bl00dy watchers.0

I've just had an item that I have already relisted twice with no bids and no watchers now have 4 watchers and 2 bids with 6 days to go. You really can never tell what is going to sell when!
Thanks hermum, really, really need to sell everything as O/D now way out of control :eek:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Hermum - Thanks for that.
Floxxie - Hatton garden I have been told about before. Think I will use them... will check out amazon for the cds also.. Thanks
I have just had a negative left, for an item lost in the post, the ebayer said that I haven't responded to my messages... I have checked, double checked and there are no messages.... ebay have confirmed thisI am a little disheartened by this ! But I have got an attic that is chocker block. I keep putting everything up there in boxes.
So I have got to get it sorted... hubby keeps telling me we would need a removal van just to move the attic, so we can't think about moving until thats cleared!!!!
I have clothes & shoes for the 80`s I keep everything just in case ....
I have just stumbled across a box of mobile phones !?!?!?! Don't really want to sell then on ebay is there anywhere else I can sell them???

Gingababe, have you responded to the neg along the lines of 'no messages rec'd, otherwise would have'?
Your 80s 'vintage' stuff should do ok on eBay.
Person who purchased my non-working, but turned out it did work, has just paid £30 into my account - how kind is that? They have also returned and bid on a couple more of my items
Two more items sold tonight but neither have paid. One collected today and paid cash. Slowly but steadily the money is coming in.
Worked out that I sell about 50% of what I list, first time around. It sounds awful but then I worked out that you have to have the right type of item and the appropriate sellers at the time you list and that's ok for certain items but a lot of what I sell is for specific collectors.
Waiting for hubby to come home and I shall continue preparing a few listings to start on Thursday as he is coming back too late for me to do any studying.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Mobile phones - see if they have any value using one of the websites that there is sure to be an article about on this site :money:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

Hi
I've sold a few things this week, sold the Toddler Bed and some girls clothes. Got my first Neg on my Business account, stupid person from Bulgaria left neg saying 'have not received item', didn't even e-mail me to say as I would have refunded, the person bought two items from me but paid for them separately so I sent them separately so am waiting for a neg for the other item.
I'm not that bothered, I also got 3 low stars for Communication so it has taken me over the limit for TRS, so am going to lose my TRS status on 20th July.
One bit of 'good' news is that we have remortgaged and were able to get extra to pay off our credit card debts, so have paid off 3 cards so far and will pay another 2 tomorrow and that leaves me with 2 cards, one at 0% for another 8/9 months and one at 6.9% until paid off so not sure which one to keep and which one to pay a chunk off. Will still have about £2k left to pay so will do extra payments to try and pay them off ASAP, I don't want any credit card debt at all.
Am suffering with Hayfever in the evenings, my throat is sore and itchy and my nose is stuffy, can't lie too flat at night otherwise I get stuff coming up in my throat so have to prop myself up.
That is all for now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Wow what a wonderful buyer. Restores your faith in human nature a bit. Hope now it didn;t start working just by being jogged around & once it settles down will stop again.0 -
No, it works now because she turned the correct dial :rotfl:
Another couple of items sold and I have another repeat buyer. Must get some more items listed :mad:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Ok haven't managed any further listings as I went to sleep mid-afternoon and woke up at 7 :eek: Unfortuntately the children had also fallen asleep and so now they are wide awake. Think I shall watch some TV before making a listing plan.
Where is everybody - have you all completed your eBay challenges? :rotfl:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060
