£40 now and lots of watchers - come on bids! :j:j
Still haven't started the remainder of my assignment though :(:(:mad:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
I've taken over hermum's place - now I'm talking to myself :rotfl:where is everybody?
Had to stay out of my house last night and then work on my assignment which is now in.
At 4.30 I opened my emails to find that 18 people had paid so 30 minutes of wrapping and at 5 I sent husband down with lots of packages. Nearly all done - just need to sort out a courier for tomorrow and then start listing again.
Would like an update from someone else now please?Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Hi
I am here - just!
Really need to get cracking the on personal items.
Anyway, need some advice. Sold an item on my Business account, it was a child's t-shirt with a TV character transfer on. Sold item on 13 May, had an e-mail from the buyer today saying they bought it for their nephew and the transfer is starting to peel off and they asked if they could return for a replacement, I don't have another in that size so what should I do? Do I have to refund as it has been nearly two months, another 6 days and they would not be able to file a dispute as it will be over 60 days and after 60 days cannot issue a refund through Paypal via the transaction.
Not sure what to do. Should I refund the cost of the t-shirt on return of the item but not original postage or postage to return, the t-shirt was £4.99, just feel like it has been quite a while and my returns policy states refunds within 14 days.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

Hello tmd :j
Have they left you feedback already?
I would send them a message saying that you only accept returns on unworn items or faulty goods within 14 days. And then what you do is up to you....tell them you don't have any left...ask them to return it for a refund but at their own cost?
I can't believe some people would ask after this time on a £4.99 t-shirt!Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Hi Floxxie
Yes they left feedback when they received it (I checked earlier).
I think it is a bit of a cheek after nearly 2 months, not sure what to do really.

Then I would say no tmd. I wouldn't expect to return an item after nearly two months and in fact you can't at most places especially on clothing.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

TMD
They can't do a paypal claim as it is outside the 45 day limit. They could try an ebay one but you stand a fair chance of winning that due to the time lapsed.
I would do as has been suggested and explain that you cannot offer refunds after such a length of time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Floxxie and Soolin.
I e-mailed yesterday saying that I have a 14 day returns policy and that for all I know it could have been worn and washed a lot of times in two months.
She replied saying " It was given to him as a present for his 2nd birthday on 3rd June, so he's only actually had it for 5 weeks, during this time it has only been washed about four times. Do you think its reasonable to buy an item of clothing and have to throw it away after four washes?'
What should I reply back please?

Firslty block her form bidding again just in case she gets annoyed!
Then reiterate that due to length of time you cannot offer a refund. Is she likely to open a dispute through Ebay as then they will tell her to send it back and I'll have to refund the cost of the t-shirt and original p&p, I tried to search Help for the answer on wanting a refund after nearly 2 months but it never came up with anything and didn't give me Ebays number to ring and ask them.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
