Thanks
No I have the main business account and set up my paypal ID to the micro ones for cheap items and to my main premier account for dearer items. If people buy more than one item from me i have my account set up that it doesn't automatically calculate postage discount so they have to ask and then I can change the paypal id if the total exceeds £9.50.
It doesn't always work of course, sometimes people buy a couple of items and pay in full for them to the micro account, but it can't be helped and I would still refund the excess postage paid.
I also us eboth ids on my private account and again sometimes somehting sells for a ot more than i imagined so it goes to the wrong account but it still all works out cheaper in the long run to have both types of paypal account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Soolin, going to ask abou this as I'm only going to do my cards for £1.25 so this would be a lot cheaper I think
Im going to be really cheeky here,:o, could anyone give me some tips on what I would need on a spreadsheet to keep track of what I spend and make etc for a business. I can do a basic spreadsheet (with the help of my 13yr old DS;)) just want to get everything in order for when I start.
Thanks0 -

It might be worthwhile you signing up for a business link course, it's free, & we all like free. They will give loads of info, from tax, marketing, naming your business & allsorts.0 -

Its been quiet on here for the last few days, hope everyone is doing fine and feeling ok.
I have now spoken to the people about registering self employed and, am raring to go. I am going to change my personal account to the business becasue of the high feedback, but does anyone know if I will lose my listings when I swap over?0 -
sophiasmum, welcome back. I'm being rubbish on here & concentrating more on amazon. Need to get my life in irder & do ebay & greenmet as well.
Jaynemaria, I don't think that you'll lose your listings but not too sure. Have you looked on the help pages of ebay? Have you set up your micro acct yet? I must do that as lots of my stuff is under 9.50 especially when I list at 99p most things with me tend to sell for that or a couple of quid.
I have a few ending today, hopefully I'll get more bidders 24 watchers & only 2 bids. I always seem to get lots of watchers & thaat's all they do.
I did a survey the other day, & have just got a £10 amazon voucher for it. How good is that??? I hope I get more surveys with them. I thought that Pinecone were good, well they are, £3 a time I've already had £6 from them.
Good luck all.0 -
No, not set the micro account yet, been trying but there is a problem with the page it says!.. You need to type micropayments into the search engine to find out about it though, rather than micr accounts0

I've just had a look & it's for business sellers, pooh, was going to set one up for my personal acct, just sold 2 things for 99p so hoped that I could get it up & invoice on the micropayments to save a little bit. Never mind.0

My colleague at work had trouble setting up his micro payments account...they don't make it common knowledge and he couldn't get it set up without ringing paypal up. Then he has various communicatio through email with them messing him around before it was finally working. Seems like they don't really want anyone to have it if they can help it!Orange Fairy

Only sold 3 things, with 3 bids tonight. Someone did message to ask if I would accept £30 for something that was starting at 39.99 or BIN 49.99. I declined, very politely, don't people realise that if I wanted 30 for it I would have listed for that. At the weekend someone messaged afterwards to offer me 30 for something that started at 50. This was brand new, never used & costs over 200.
I have sold another book on amazon though. Yeah0
