Any ideas what they class as 'high volume' Sellers,?0
-
Over £37,400 but you also have your personal allowance rate that can be earned before tax - it is £6475 (but may be higher if you are older or lower if you have company cars etc).
It is the second part that riases questions for me - it does not state 'any private seller listing 99p items in high volumes will be reviewed' but a seller 'listing in high volumes'- From this week private sellers with a feedback score of less than 25, will be automatically limited to 100 live listings/total quantity at any point in time on ebay.co.uk and ebay.ie.
- Any private seller listing in high volumes will be reviewed by Customer Support , and potentially required to upgrade to business status or be blocked from listing on ebay.co.uk and ebay.ie.
The high volume bit they probably won't say how many listings that is, as if people know that there's a default setting of 200 items a month, they'll list 190, so until people get caught doing what they shouldn't we probably won't ever know.
Yeah, that's what I came over for, sold a book on amazon, that's 1 on greenmet this week as well. Only another 5 x6' high bookcases & about 20 banana boxes to go & then I will have cleared my books. Bt which time I will probably have filled the bookcases again. I MUST STOP BUYING STUFF..... I'm off to post my book, luckily I know a PO that's open this afternoon. Already been once today.0 -

The people who have come to me for advice have mainly all been second hand clothes sellers, and I've seen some of those 'caught' by ebay or HMRC for less than 100 items a month.
Mind you, I'll probably be first, I've just done something really silly. Was on the pC this morning and saw someone selling something I thought I could get, rushed out bought a few logged into my business account and listed them. Just come home again and logged in to see if i had any watchers and they weren't there, panicked a bit then thought to check my personal account , and they are all in there  Arghhh, they are 100% definitely business goods and sitting on the old rubbish account I keep for tidying up the house from tat.
My last PC was good, if i logged out i stayed logged out. This one regardless of which account i sign in as always takes me into my private account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. OOh, will you lose much cancelling them & transfering them over or can you somehow move them from 1 to t'other?
I think that ebay coming down on people has got to be better for everyone, except the people who aren't declaring their money. Especially the legit business sellers.
Sorry an amazon question while I'm here but will post it over on that thread too, is there anyway of finding out what books sold for on amazon or is it just on ebay you can do that sort of search?
Thank you anyone who can answer0 -
I've cancelled all but one of them but will have to do that later. I wonder if I am doomed now to be picked up on the radar.
It would have been nice to have been able to just send them from one account to another though as they were complicated listings with lots of extra photos. Bother.
I've answered your Amazon question on main thread, but well done on your sale.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi
Not been on for last 24 hours as have been unwell, feeling a bit better today although still feel weak if I stand too long.
Soolin, if you use Turbolister there is a way you can transfer them over, not sure how to do it but have saved a message that was on the Community Boards about how to do it, think it's something to do with synchronising them.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Thanks for that but on this occasion I listed direct
It was a rush thing, I could see the other seller had items finishing today so I thought i would get my stuff up so it would be picked up by her unsucessful bidders. I took loads of photos and used Photobucket to add them all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There is no charge for being a business and some FVFs are lowered. However you do need to comply with all the regs about having your name and address on the auction page itself, and of course have a full returns policy.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. tmd, hope you can relax today and get better.
I woke up to find my middle son had raided his Easter eggs and eaten the whole lot; very surprised he hasn't been sick yet
I spent the whole of yesterday clearing the eBay room and moving the boys into their 'new' room. Unforunately that means that the living room is full of stuff but things that have been sorted and can be put straight onto eBay. However I have achieved the one big thing that I have been planning to do for a couple of years :T
Won't be putting any new listings on today as am off out to dinner but tomorrow will be a busy day.
Hope you are all enjoying lots of chocolate :j:jMortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060
