Right I currently have abour 24 active listings.
I never seem to make much on ebay my things never seem to go for that much.
Can anyone have a look at my stuff for me and give me some hints/tips???
This is my worry too. If i put the starting bid too low then i end up making nothing and if I put it too high people dont bid on it.
Im going to make january a month of learning how to sell and if it works out worth it put in more effort in feb.Nov 2010 :1st win beauty box set of 3 worth £40 and a cushelle koala

You can have two accounts one for your personal stuff and one for your business items - that way it keeps the two separate. You need another email address to do this - I have tried it and it all got a bit complicated for me with Paypal etc
I personally just bung it all together as I buy to sell a lot more than I do selling my personal things. for example I sell maybe £250 of my items a year against business items of £7,000 a year (turnover - not profit) so you see for me it's not worth separating it. And you can claim for quite a bit being self-employed.

Another BIN sold for £9Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Just saying is it worth it. If i buy and sell to make up 50% of the income, the other 50% from selling my own clothes, if i registar for tax am i not just signing up to pay tax for selling my own items? Seems a bit rubbish to be honest.
No, you are paying tax on a percentage of your profits. And you will be offsetting a lot of payable tax through your expenses. You have to seperate out your personal stuff from your business stuff so will need two accounts - a personal and a business.

Are you still selling CDs BenBen? (Sorry to hear your news btw)
Have listed 18 without piccies and will go back and relist some. Not sure I want to add any more without piccies as it takes forever to add them on.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
