Hey
Still haven't managed to get any new listing done yet so really doubt i'll get the 30 items listed that i wanted to tonight. I have spent the morning in bed seems like i picked up the cold last night at OHs parents house and am suffering today
I did move the pc last night and install the software on it for me to use. I also have my desk tidied, camera, scales and postage list all looked out so just need to finish tidying up the rest of the living room before i can spend any time on ebay.
I still only have one bid at 99p
Good Luck with all your listings hope to be able to report on here soon that i have listed at least one more item

Well, I did really well yesterday and got 30 things listed! About 20 of those were magazines so that made it a lot easier. I checked today and I've sold 6 things, 5 of which are all paid for and ready to go to the PO tomorrow. I can't wait for my first set of auctions to finish; they have 3 days left to run on them and lots of bidders and watchers - hurrah!
Well done everyone else with the listing and selling0 -
Hopefully my order will be here soon so i can get going!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Don't forget if you are buying things to sell on then you must use a business account and register with HMRC. I've already had one user of MSE contact me in the past month to say that they have the dreaded 'would you like to reconsider your income ' letter from HMRC with a direct reference to online sales.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi,
Just read through the whole thread and I'm inspired to give this a go now - please can I join? Got load of books I'm not going to read again, so will get them sorted out tomorrow and get them on GreenMet, I think.
I've never put anything on ebay but have loads of stuff I think would sell, so going off to read the info on here...
Not sure of a target yet, think I'll just see how January goes and take it from there - if that's OK?
Thanks for a lovely new challenge for me to join. The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I'd like to join this challenge please. I have spent today doing a mammoth listing session on ebay, amazon and green metropolis and have already sold 1 item. I have great success in the run up to christmas and funded all my presents from selling my unwanted stuff!
As with others i have joined the 10K in 2010 so this will help me to that target.0 -
345
Are you full time??
Or do you have a full time job and this is a side earner?
Even if you get £10 an item on average your looking at taking in £3.5k over the next few weeks. An absolute insperation :TWork in progress...Update coming July 2012.
