  • What feedback do you leave for someone who only paid when you opened a Dispute? I need to leave feedback for someone they won item on 24 January and paid on 3rd Feb (10 days after winning).

Am thinking of just putting 'thank you'.

Sorry another brain pick, on listings that you can p&p to how much on average do you add for the packing part. I AM going to list stuff today. Not at 99p starts though, as by the time Paypal & ebay fees are paid it's hardly worth the trouble. I know that it gets stuff out of my house but I'm not sure it's worth the effort for about 50p. Will have to ponder that one while out with the dog.
    Have a good day everyone.

I never add more than a few pence on top of actual stamp price as buyers are very quick to leave poor stars when they feel they have been overcharged.

For example on my business account I sell a lot of books, postage is normally £1.85 second class so I charge between £1.85 and £2 . (that's pre free postage of course so I will go back to that model on Monday). I also sell another line that goes at 47p 2nd class but I do charge 60p on that one as the packing is quite specialised.

Checking my expanded seller dashboard I only have 1 x 1 or 2 star on a single account and that is a private account and the low star was left for item description..which is odd as my feedback does not reflect the fact that nayone had a problem.

Hi all me yet again. A dilemma. Just about sums up my life. In the last 3 years I've been every size from 12-22, except a 16. I'm down to a 20 & would like to get to a 14-16 ish. - I've just started taking pics & I have a box of lovely clothes that I bought when I thought I was a 16, by the time they arrived I'd outgrown them. Don't you just hate it when that happens. Now do I sell them, or use them as an incentive to lose weight. With the other challenges I've signed up for, I should easily lose weight. Why is life soooooooo difficult.

if it was me i would keep the things you like the most to use as an incentive, and sell of some of the other stuff. i would sell the bigger stuff that no longer fits cuz its too big (again using this as an incentive not to go up a dress size)

good luck with the weight loss - im sure you will achieve your goal x

ive only relisted a few things, but have a pie of stuff beside me with pics taken to get on 2day - hope i dont get distracted!
  • hermum - I'd keep the 16's for the moment and sell your bigger clothes. I'm sure you have loads of other stuff lurking that you can sell so you won't have to make a decision about the clothes until you've sold some other stuff you're definately sure you want rid of.

    Hey

Sorry not been around much lately been busy working both jobs and not had much time to list lately. In January managed to make £62.52 which isn't that bad considering i didn't really list anything new most of it was re-lists.

Am having a good month so far and have managed to list some items at the beginning of the month and i have also managed to list another ten items today so am hoping that they will sell. I have managed to sell £43.82 worth of items after costs so far this month which is really good. Am hoping i can keep up listing cause i have so much stuff to get rid of and i need the space!

Hope you feel better soon. Congartulations on having a lovely son.

Thank you for the answers on keeping what I like & selling the rest. Most of it is really nice, if I can keep it I can stop stroking it & put it back in it's box safe & sound for now.
I love this thread everyone's sooooo helpful. :j
