    Hi Buffy

I don't know what you teach, or if this is relevant, but I have 2 friends that are ex-high school teachers. One works for the council, working with schools indirectly (not exactly sure what - but I could find out). The other works for a University supporting students, so both in Education, just not teaching.....

Anyway, hope you enjoy your wine and whinge this evening! :)

Buffy lots of teachers locally often move into council advisory positions once they decide to leave teaching. Might be worth having a look on your local county council website to see if there is anything. Would you consider moving areas to get a different job?

    Hi Buffy,

Just checking in to see how the first week back went. It sounds like the idiots at the top haven't changed any over the hols! Try to take one day at a time and tell yourself that it isn't going to be like this forever (this is basically how I am 'surviving' at the moment ) Glad to hear that you are letting off steam with your friends tonight.

Keep praying for more snow days! ;)

Lou - I am hoping a snow day tomorrow!!!!

Sal, I will a friend of mine who has done that, its def worth keeping an eye out for such posts.

Ok. No real big news in Buffy land aside from coming to the conclusion that part of my problem is straight forward lazyness. I am causing myself most of my problems so I need to just get my !!!! together and concentrate on the now rather then the future? Cos I have all these big plans and whilst (like the CC) some work alot don't and meanwhile I am just hanging on by my finger nails in "real life" does that make sense?

So plan for the rest of the day.

    1. wash bed clothes, tumbledry
    2. clean Gp's (remove shelves and start the two periods of exercise a day
    3. ignore paperwork till next weekend
    4. Organise marking
    5. Complete marking for tomorrow
    6. move laptoptable up here
    7. shift Recycling and tidy conservatory
    8. Tidy room and sort clothes for tomorrow.

Ok folks I will see you later when all that is DONE!

    quick computer question

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Oh yes, it makes perfect sense.......it is how I live my life.....although I do honestly WANT to get off my backside and do something more productive. I do.....really I do :rotfl:

When you lose everything, you'll be able to restore from those old disks, which means you lose 3 weeks of work (and counting).

Hypno you are one of the people I want to be like, you DO so much in your days and I really don't. Wasting time in a big talent of mine.

My life would be so much better if I could just go to bed early and get up on time. YOU are incredible how on earth you can think you need to be more productive I have no idea - there aren't enough hours in the day!! You must be kidding! you have kids and everything I just have fish and guinea pigs!!!

(but thanks for posting in my diary *feels pride* )
