Hugs, hope today goes steady for you.
Relate to the constant worrying, and not having anyone to bounce off it's easy to get sucked in to yourself.
Not doing unhappy is good. Life too short etc etc.
Be kind to yourself.DC.

It's a tough job and often you don't get the appreciation or thanks you should!
If you're prepared to take a paycut how about suggesting going part time in September. At least then you'll have some light at the end of the tunnel and you can continue looking for more jobs in the meantime?
I find posting lists of all the things I can be thankful for and have achieved helps to cheer me up a little when I feel like this.
Focus on getting through each work day one at a time and plan relaxing treats to look forward to in the evening. Make sure you're working smart- give pupils red pens and get them to marks their own homework in class etc if they are old enough.
Every teacher I know dreads the term start! I hope it hasn't been as bad as you feared. Lots of people have given you great advice re talking to the Dr etc2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

Thansk guys, I was trying to read the daily chat, but I really don't have time. I was meant to marking but I had dinner, felt awful laid down for an hour - ooops only woke a while ago.
I watched I bit of DIY SOS, it made me cry and made me pull myself together a bit too.
Z- I found out it might be possible to not submit this assignment and continue - my friend and I are going to find out for def tomorrow, it would help career wise. certainly make me more employable.
Today was so bad but it helped to see a couple of friends and discover that lots of people feel the same. In the end it only helps some. Jellie, you are right to make the lists, the DIY SOS - honestly people are amazing. I am lucky in lots of ways.
Just need to get this work done.

Hi Buffy, hope you're surviving.
Just caught up with your new thread.
In the old diary you saidOh why can't I quit my job and run away and join the circus...
If the job starts making you ill again, you will be better off out of it. It's not worth your health and while i think i counted about 17 lists so far, i am concerned with the way the 'big picture' seems to be shaping up.
Getting debt free would be great, but would that solve anything? Not really, you still need an income and getting rid of the creditcard debt wasn't the elating experience you may have thought it would have been. You also say that you hope to save for a house - that's alot of money and pressure so there's no way you could quit your job if you wanted to not only save for a deposit but also maintain payments...
Sorry if this sounds really negative, but i don't want you to focus on what you want and then pursue it come hell or high water. It might be what you want, but is it what you need or good for you? It's the journey in how you will get there i think needs a little more loooking into.
I would first look at your priorities - what is it that you need rather than want.
I think many readers of your diary will agree that your health and sanity are more important than staying in that job.
Have you tried making one of your lists to see if any of your skills or strengths are transferrable? Another form of teaching or even a totally different career? Copywriter, councellor, education officer, librarian? Have you looked at businesses that set up training programs etc? You can multi-task, have good people management and planning skills - surely there are lots of jobs that require this.
I just want to ensure that whatever goals you focus on will not leave you a jibbering wreck once you get there.
Can't remember if it's already been mentioned, but have you spoken to anyone at the teacher support network? http://www.teachersupport.info/
Well, at least i'm not going on too much

Thank you George Jellie and Hypnoxx To be honest these days I don't really know what I am doing re work/house etcits all up in the air. The one solid thing I cling to is paying off the debt and then saving for some kind of security. changing jobs or buying a house both seem very far away. Don't get me wrong I still keep looking for a job but I having been looking for over a year and no one is changing jobs at the moment.
Any how. no available doctors app.for 4 weeks so by then I will either be completely bonkers or feel better so you know!
we had 1 snow day. and lots of whinging kids bless them the staff weren't too happy either! It has been a difficult week really. The head has announced a new thing to make our lives hell. I can't say anything about that here, like most things its now in my contract that I don't talk about my job (however I am gettting together with some friends tonight to whinge)
I think once the debt is paid off I could (and hopefully will) go for a lower paid job and that would give me thinking time.
I would write more by my sister and her bf are here now so I best go and get on with something constructive.
Just want to write down my spends.
