Any codes for free delivery. I have a £10 credit sitting on my account and want to use it as I am not going to buy from them again if I don't get my money back.
I still have my 12.5% voucher so want to claw a bit of the money back from the earrings without paying postage.
I had some full price stuff in my basket but am not buying that from them now. Just a few sales items that are clearly not earrings
Just thought, I could buy something not in the sale for £10 and take it back for a refund using the credit on my account, do you think that would work?Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
Doesn't it make you wonder who decides which items M&S are going to sell?
Their taste is a bit strange on some of the jewellery items.
I know that everyone likes different things, but some of the items on here are pretty much universally disliked!
I think thats why they put them on without descriptions or am I just cynicalLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

If the 2 pairs of earrings are all they have refused to refund, then surely the MOST they should withhold is the £4 you paid. Could they have mistakenly withheld the RRP of the 2 pairs? If so, they owe you £12. And that's even if they don't hold to their published distance selling rules.
I'd have a word with Customer Services!!0 -

Sorry I didn't make it clear. There were 5 pairs at £3 each and one pair of clip on ones for £1
I was trying to say I wouldn't be too bothered if it was just £1 a pair but at £3 its a lot to pay for junkLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
I wonder if the 7 day return still stood during the snow recently? Surely some people would have struggled to get to the Post Office?
I had some of the giant chandelier earrings too (and sent them back as well lol) - I'm only ickle and I genuinely don't think my neck would have been long enough. Even if I ever decided to wear them that is!0 -
Have just been through all my orders and sorted out what I'm keeping and what's going back, I have 3 pairs of earrings going back @ £3 and £1 per pair. I have already had one refund on earrings processed - they don't seem to be very consistent in applying the rule!0

I have just sent another email as I am really annoyed.
They answered the first I sent (asking why my refund was not for the full amount) in about 5 minutes telling me that it was because I couldn't return earrings.
I replied straight away telling them it was not right and they have ignored it, its been 4 hours now so I have sent another.
I have now used up the £10 credit on a pair of slippers I wanted anyway, I had to pay postage but also used the 12 1/2 off that the messed up on my last order that they cancelled as oos. It would not accept it again so they said to email and they would put a note on the account to take it off before despatch. What a palaver it has all turned out to be.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
There is a free delivery code but I have a feeling you can't use it if you're paying with credit put on your account? I usually can't get the free delivery codes to work for me anyway so no difference there.
The CS person that was supposed to be refunding some of my delivery charges must have had the past week off, as nothing has happened with that yet. Got a bad feeling about it now.......0 -
They seem to be tightening up the refunds on postage charges. The credit was for the postage code that did not work even though I did not use it because of the cancelled order. she said that the credit would more than cover for the postage charge I lost. I got the impression they had been told to stop giving postage refunds and she was doing it this way instead ifswimLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is.
