Have you used up all your email addresses to get free del code and or 12.5% off ?

I see what you mean but I can't transfer the credit from my M&S account to another account can I? I tried to use my account credit with 12.5% and it doesn't let me use the account credit. Very odd way of doing things :rotfl:

My fault though I thought free delivery would be standard as of today so didnt think twice to use the code already

I got a few bargains in the Bournemouth town centre store this morning. Their clearance section was one tiny rail in ladieswear, but I think I looked just at the right time.

Managed to find a dress for myself for £5 from £39, a Per Una top for £5 (not sure what it started at) and best of all a pure cashmere jumper for my mum, which was tagged at £9 and at the till they took it down to £5!!
  • I suddenly dont feel I went overboard now with 7 orders :rotfl:

Although (fingers crossed) I do have two S&G boxes coming - missed out the first time as the website crashed and went straight to sold out so was over the moon to see them back in stock yesterday. Also got the free mascaras from Body Shop to put with my earlier sale buys and the 3 for 2's.

As a side question, for the jewellery with metal in, are you supposed to store out of the bags and in a container etc? I dont want items to tarnish before I get to gift them out.

I picked a good week to have off work this week as had lots of fun with this thread and the lucky dips :T

It's mainly moisture & chemicals which cause Silver Plate/Gold Plate & Alloys (i.e. Silver/Gold coloured metals) to tarnish.

Unlike real solid Silver/Gold, once tarnished, you can't just clean them with a metal cleaner & restore them to natutral shine.
You can, though, rub/buff them with a soft dry cloth which can help a bit.

Certainly best not to let them tarnish in the 1st place.

To avoid moisture - store in dry, dark, cool, airtight conditions - but not so they can 'sweat'. I pop them in a Cosmetic-style purse or pouch, with a little sachet of that Silicone Gel (the ones you get in the polystyrene boxes with DVD Players etc.) - that absorbs any moisture - & then put them in a Drawer.

Ideally, don't wear them in the shower, rain, or to do the washing-up :rotfl:
If they do get wet, try & dry them thoroughly, with soft cloth, as quickly as possible.

Also, avoid chemicals - try not to let them come into contact with perfume, cologne or detergents.

Forgot to say - if they are for presents later in the year - thay should be fine in their original packaging (packs, boxes etc.) - you can the packs in a shoe or hat box or drawer or whatever, with the Silicone Gel sachets.

Just returned suits to store, nothing much left, but I suspect CS person wil lbe nabbing the suits I returned, she was gobsmacked when she saw the reductions (£320 down to £49). Nothing caught my eye in the sale there though, but I did get a lovely cardi in Monsoon (which I had looked at before xmas) reduced from £55 to £15, so very pleased with that, OH got an overcoat reduced from £75 to £30,and I got a school coat for £7, so still some bargains out there in the stores.

No cashmere, Lemony!! I did look.

Got home to despatch emails which include the baguette earrings, sparkle clutch bag, two 125 yr dresses, jewellry box, trousers, bracelet. So things are moving, all the links are gone from the ordereditems though so can't paste them.

I received an order of jewellery items today, most are very nice.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Portfolio-Necklaces/dp/B002I5JBDC?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

This is a long necklace made up of grey and black rings and oval shaped rings interspersed with black discs on a large silver link chain. It is a chunky necklace but light in weight.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Per-Una-Necklaces-BOUQUET-BIB/dp/B002PSGM84?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

This is a really pretty necklace of green, yellow and pink flowers on a bib of black material. Would look striking on a black top or dress.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Autograph-Necklaces-TRIPLE-NIGHT-COLL/dp/B002RHGW9C?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

This necklace has 3 rows of midnight blue and black discs and squares and octagons. The chain is of dark grey beads. Again a chunky necklace but light in weight.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Portfolio-Necklaces/dp/B002PSNEWQ?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

This is a long delicate necklace of a silver chain with big spaces between red, silver wire balls and silver balls with glass studs. It is really pretty.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Silver-Necklaces-CATSEYE-PEAR-LOOP/dp/B002F7HW3E?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

A silver chain with a deep purple (but with a grey tinge) oval. Oval is about 1 1/2" in length and has a section cut out that has silver oval shape in it that then has a white drop in. Hard to explain but again a nice necklace.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Ltd-Necklaces-ELECTRO-FLOWER-CO/dp/B002PSMNU0?ie=UTF8&mnSBrand=core

A deep grey fine chain with metal flowers of different colours forming a wide v shape. Very pretty and not 'way out' as some of the Limited collection tends to be.

Was very happy with all these necklaces and they were well worth the price I paid. Hope this helps.

SO how many accounts do you all have? Do you use the same payment card details on all of them? Have you ever been questioned about it? Can you convince me I need to open another one? :rotfl:
  • Am probably thick, but how are we finding the jewellery numbers ?
