To collect from store do you have to have an online print out? I have no printer but can't justify the delivery charges anymore, hope somebody can helo?

I thought it was free delivery now

but I have a question... If I use the 12.5% off code for over £35 spend but then return some do I forfeit the 12.5%?

  • BTW if anyone needs to call M&S the landline number is 01925 672317.

Saves you having to call an 0845 number!

I'm surprised about that. I'm sure I've been able to mix credits and discounts on one order in the past.

So have I, but when I try to apply any other discount it tells me...This order does not meet the eligibility requirements for this offer. Please refer to the details in your promotional offer for further information.

    Odd

From the M&S website (cut & pasted)

    7. If you have a printer, click the PRINT ORDER DETAILS button to print a summary of your order.
    8. On your chosen collection day, collect your order from the store. You will need to give your name, home address and email address. It would be helpful if you could bring a printout of your order details. Please note: after 7 days unclaimed orders will be returned to stock and we will refund your payment.

So you don't have to have a printout.

My printer had died on me, so I wrote down the order number
SA wanted me to confirm my email address, credit card/payment address etc. When she gave me the boxes, she also handed me a a receipt which gave the full order again.

I used the free delivery code on an amalgamated order after M&S refused to waive delivery. But I have credit on that account which is non transferable. And with credit you cant use codes it seems anyway, strange.

I've never ever given a print out of my order (and go there at least twice a month). I always tell them that I don't have a printer. They ask my details and give me my order.
  • Thanks for the info on collecting orders, might just have to pay delivery as what I'm buying I wont be able to carry!

I have placed 2 orders today for jewellery - total RRP £283, cost to me £57.78 - looks like every female relative is going to be getting M&S jewellery for birthday and Christmas for the next year (though God only knows what it looks like - let's hope it doesn't all have to go back!!)! Thanks to everyone on here who have made this such fun and have saved me a packet.
