Yep I think I shall have to do the same Hypno...just wish he had a job and I would know that he could afford something nice. He will only qualify Housing benefit for a 1 bed place (as B won't be permanently there) so that really limits what he can get at the moment.

    Hi Sally,

I normally just lurk but wanted to say hope everything works out for you, you deserve it and from what I read it sounds like you're a fantastic Mum, whatever happens that will never change and you know you will always have a happy little girl. Best of luck.

Sounds like good advice from Hypno - it must be awful living in the kind of limbo you are at the moment. You always sound so strong, don't let this drag you down. Take care of you :A

Sally, I've only just stumbled across your diary and I'm so sorry to heare what's been happening.

I threw ex out last year even though he had no job, and at the time he didn't have any benefits, he had to put a claim in when he went as his carer's allowance stopped. He's living with a friend who had a spare room and gets housing benefit to pay for it. Does yours have anyone he could stay with as a lodger for a couple of months while he gets his benefits sorted and looks for a one bed place of his own? Of course, you still have the problem of getting him to physically go.

I hope things work out for you, but I agree with the others that you can't carry on indefinitely, it just saps everything out of you.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
