We are off to the new in laws for lunch and fun today...the children will meet for the first time, im strangly nervous yet excited too. Once they have met we will then realistically be able to meet up and do stuff all together as a family at weekends which will be lovely
Need to make a bouquet of flowers from the garden to take with us and make some coleslaw (ive been assigned that and quiches!) make myself and B look presentable, clean the car out as its a pig sty and be there for 11:30....better get a wiggle on me thinks!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. If only...they are lovely but quite old fashioned! I wouldn't probably even be allowed to stay in the same room...And also this will make you laugh when we turned up to their house last wednesday after Id dropped B off at school we had a little fun here, then drove over to his parents....when we stood chatting his mum said "R your t-shirts inside out...talk about being mortified as I turned bright red" I am the hussy DIL lolI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. Today, I have made a greek salad and a banoffee pie to take to my friends place-going for a visit. DH has gone on a motorcycle run with his biker club and I need to have a shower and crack on with these bloody Cambridge modules. This has seriously highlighted HATE doing course work.

Fab fab fab day, just how family sundays should be the children got on like a house on fire, it was nice to have more than a 5 min passing chat with his parents, the 5 of us took the dog for a walk and it was just generally a chilled day. R said he was all reflective and said he was just so so happy and well for me it just confirmed how much I want us all to be together
