Good luck today Sal, although as long as you are YOU it will go fine.

As a child of broken marriages, whatever happens at some point you will get the 'you arent my mother' thrown at you-its the LAW.

If you're not totally happy then why should you shut up.. friendship is more important, but the other stuff does matter, especially if you miss it x

I totally agree you should have it all, if there is a vital bit missing then you have every right to want more.

I am so waiting for the you aren't my mother comment, I'd happily settle for being their friend and someone they can come to if they can't talk to anyone else.

So I'm sat here on Poole quay the sun is shining it's beautiful and I'm trying to remain calm :) got 15 mins until they arrive so grabbing a drink while I wait.

Don't shut up - if it's important to you then it's worth fighting for.

DH and I always said that if the oingy boingy went from our relationship then we'd probably not stay together as it was very important for both of us but circumstances now mean that it's not there and we've both realised it's not as important as we thought....Knowing there's a reason for the lack of it makes it easier to deal with....Living in limbo like you are must be annoying and disheartening, I wish I could wave a wand and make it what you want it to be :(

Sal - Sorry hi-jacking your diary there......hope the meetings gone well x

Pooky, I totally understand what you are saying about the oingy boingy. You can do without it BUT the affection has to be there...I bet your OH still wants to rip your clothes off. Its knowing that if you could you would. If one of you wants to and the other doesn't it seriously damages the self - esteem.

Sally - why would anyone not love you....or sweet B
