We had an amazing morning, with the highlights being the February getaway and the photo albums! I'm so chuffed that everyone loved them!

We had a massive dinner that stuffed everyone completely, after which we played loads of board games that kept us all amused for ages!

A really, really lovely day thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Up very early to take DD to airport, which was achieved comfortably. Then headed for home via the only open petrol station in Scotland (I think it really was - was astounded that supermarket petrol stations don't open on boxing day??) anyhow, eventually made it!

    Day 363 Thursday 30th December

    Days since last cigarette - 11M 4W 2D
Number of sweets / cakes etc. - More leftover treats

    Week weigh in on a MONDAY: w/c 13/12 + 0.5lb 11st 0.5lb (total -31.5lb)
    HL Score: 6/10

Another chillded and relaxed day - DS in bed poorly, so did a wee bit of running around after him, but he recovered eventually.

Did another zumba class, only because of all the rubbish I'm stashing away.

The penultimate day of the year - got up to date with all the washing and ironing, well, thought I had until DD3 produced her "hidden" pile - could have yelled, but thought no ... just calm (which is more than I can say is happening downstairs in my house as I'm typing this, sounds as though there is a fevered mob down there - oh yes, must be old firm derby time and "their" team are 2 goals up)

Happy New Year to one and all!

I'm going to do a summary post in a minute of all that was achieved, before closing down the thread, but for now, what happened today.

Well, our guests went home and I went out to party (with friends - not family - but that was okay and agreed).

Had an amazing itme and was thoroughly spoilt all evening by wonderful host and hostess. Stayed up till 4am, drinking champagne and bacardi cocktails (yummy!)

Lovely end to a year of achievements.

My last daily post on this thread xxx

    1. Not to add anything whatsoever to credit.

    FAILED

There was the tumble dryer replacement, the lap top in the summer and I think that was it wasn't it, oh no, there was the bed in November and sale clothes in December - that was all on the catalogue.

Credit Card 1 got a bashing from the 2nd week in December, with nearly £700 worth of Xmas shopping finding its way on to the card.

I guess it's not too bad overall, but would have liked to have done a wee bit better!

    2. To attempt where possible to make extra payments.

    ACHIEVED

By making extra payments to CC2, we're down to about £900 now which should see it gone in the first half of 2011.

    3. To lose 2 stone in weight in 12 months.

    ACHIEVED

    Start of the Year - 13st 4lb
    Finish of the Year - 11st 0.5lb

Have reset the goal to get to 10st 10lb in 2011, but am chuffed with getting that far!

    4. Give up smoking - starting midnight on the first of January.

    ACHIEVED

    :T:T:T:T:T

Cold turkey on the 1st January 2010 and still cold turkey 12 months later!

    6. Keep house clean by doing Flylady and earning stars

    PARTIALLY ACHIEVED

I started off really well, but kind of struggled with everything else that was going on! Although I haven't lived in a pigsty it's fair to say!

    7. Not to purchase anything unless it's on a list!

    FAILED

Did really well the first half of the year, and not so well the secod half.

    8. To save enough money for a singley holiday and a family holiday without putting it on a CC

    ACHIEVED

Fab 2.5 week holiday in the summer with family, all paid for without CC's
Fab 1.5 week holiday with friend in the Autumn - brilliant!

    9. No toiletries until the last drop from the house has gone ... should be around 2012!!!

    ACHIEVED

This was okay, I did start buying toiletries towards the end of the year, but only those that needed replaced!

    10. No book buying - walk to the library

    ACHIEVED

Well, I bought not a single book all year, but I can't claim to have walked each time to the library - often I took the car there! I'm still counting it in though, because the principle was the money saving part.

    13. Make My House Better Project (started officially 21/02/10)

    PARTIALLY ACHIEVED

Well, some windows got replaced, some of the projects got started, some got finished off, some went to the bottom of the exhausting list that is my life!!!

    17. What I want to do in my life - full list here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...5#post33993025

    ACHIEVED

3 items ticked off the list!!!!

    18. Join Weight Watchers in August and achieve 5% goal (8.5lbs by the end of September - 6 weeks)

    ACHIEVED (as above)

    19. Clear CC2 no later than April 2011 by making minimum 181.25 clear payment (+ interest) per month for 8 months.

    ON TARGET

Will carry this over to next year!
