Have tried desperately to tidy up my finances to see exactly where I'm at.

So, in the bank is £425.16, with a removed £149.23 already accounted for (as above and last night), so quite comfy that the 425.16 is the true balance (fingers crossed), just need to tidy up the front page now!

Managed to 'make' one of my Xmas gifts too! Yay!

Okay, so still have a bit more to go given that I started off very badly and put weight on to begin with, so in total have another 7lbs to go to get me to 10st 10lb (I'm 5' 6") which will do me nicely (don't want to be too skinny!) at a size 12 - 14 which is what I wanted!

Okay, hold on to your hats - I did the calculations and it turns out that my new debt total is £15,658.62 - and INCREASE of nearly £800. The biggest amount by far is a much much needed new bed as I've been sleeping on a sofa bed for the last 12 months, and it's so uncomfortable - I know I probably should have resisted, but seriously, am so looking forward to a decent nights sleep - and with all of last weeks furniture moving, decorating etc. it is the right thing and the right time to do it! The rest of the credit increase relates to Xmas shopping!

Remember last year, when I started the year, so skint, I think there was only £20 for food shopping for the whole month! Hopefully will be much better this year, but we all know my bad habits.

Lovely day was had yesterday - with home-made chocolate cake, which I admit to have a slivver of ... which would have been okay, had I not troughed two curly wurly's in the afternoon.

I participated in the IWOOT glitch in the afternoon, but not sure yet if it's going to be honoured - will keep fingers crossed.
