Hello and a very very warm welcome to my shiny new 2011 diary.
This is a follow up to my 2010 "Go For It" Diary.

THIS YEARS GOALS:
  1. Open the doors to all debts, including those called "Head in the Sands".
  2. Calculate a realistic DFW date (2nd February 2017)
  3. Clear Credit Card 2 and cut it into tiny little pieces!
  4. No adding anything to credit!
  5. Get too and keep weight level at between 10st 7lb and 11st 0lb - with the optimum being 10st 10lb.
  6. Coffee shop doors can open again - but no cakes / biscuits when in there.
  7. Get the food budgets under control by doing a monthly menu planner - hence moving it to the front page!
  8. Try and sell the house in Spain!
  9. Save enough for a family holiday and a singley holiday without resorting to credit!
  10. Climb the three peaks (Ben Nevis; Scaffel Pike; Snowdon) .... for Hyder x
  11. Make really imaginative Xmas stockings for kids and knit scarves for suspected appreciating relatives!
  12. Save £1 a day in my Terramundi pot for Xmas 2011
  13. No telling the children we're skint! It's not their fault or doing!
I need all the help and support I can get!

All visitors are most welcome, and all guidance is gratefully received x

    Happy New Year!!

    Money Spent Today: £nil
Crap Eaten Today: Sweets, biscuits and cakes
    H/L Score: 8/10
Weekly Weigh In at WW (Target 10st, 10lb) Last Weigh in 11st, 0.5lb - still to go 4.5lb
    Exercise: nil

Woke up after a fab party that didn't finish until the middle of the morning (!)
Came home and sprung clean whatever needed cleaning, and decided to make an inroad into my new diary!

Now - I know I totally blew the last fortnight of 2010, so I have a whole year to make sure that never happens again (!) I will close down the last thread properly, seeing as there was a good 23 pages in there of fab advice and some good achievements so far.

Looking forward to working with everyone this year again, and to making lots of dreams come true, lots of debts reduced, lots of fun along the way - welcome my going for it in 2011!!!

    Day 2 (Year 2) - Sunday 2nd January 2011

Money Spent Today: £30 Sainsbugs on Rubbish (and some bargain chicken)
Crap Eaten Today: More stash sweets; cake and a biscuit
    H/L Score: 6/10
Weekly Weigh In at WW (Target 10st, 10lb) Last Weigh in 11st, 0.5lb - still to go 4.5lb (next weigh in 10/01)
    Exercise: nil

Up early after an uncomfortable sleep on the brick (new bed which I loathe!). Out in the morning sunshine to church which was lovely, seemed to have missed loads by missing last Sunday, but was nice to catch up with everyone. After church, popped in to Grans to fix TV after it broke (again) seems to be my main purpose in her life - fixing her telly! Stopped in Sainsbury to buy her a cake and flowers for first footing and ended up spending a fortune in there on unnecessary rubbish (oooops).

Have spent ages tidying up last years threads and closing down goals etc. and generally reflecting on 2010. It has made me determined to be as organised this year as I was last year!

I might need to have a new goal of staying away from "Qucik, grabbit whilst you can" until next October!
  • Fantastic idea to put everything on your first page - I'm sure you'll achieve more in 2011

    Day 3 (Year 2) - Monday 3rd January 2011

    Money Spent Today: £nil
Crap Eaten Today: Chocolates off of the cream, the last ice-cream in the freezer!
    *H/L Score: 8/10
Weekly Weigh In at WW (Target 10st, 10lb) Last Weigh in 11st, 0.5lb - still to go 4.5lb (next weigh in 10/01)
Exercise: long walk in the park; housework

Another fractious sleep - have now freebled for a new bed - eek!

Took all the Xmas rubbish to the recycling centre, took down the decorations and had a general house tidy.

Went for a super long walk in a new park - fabulous!

Caught up with all the ironing (and other meaningless chores!!)

Trying to organise another of my famous "mini trips" for DH's birthday - but proving a bit beyond budget at the minute, so fingers crossed for some bargains!
