Spent £11 on dinner last night, only to find out visitors had already eaten :-(
Cooked dinner anyway for everyone else, but there was far too much. However, realistically I suppose I still would have had to buy the same ingredients.

I survived the weekend, as did my bank account ... just! Have just updated finances to make sure I'm going to survive the rest of the month and it looks doable!
