    Change to Blogging

I need to radically change as I'm now only doing this half-heartedly and as was posted earlier in February, I seem to have massively slipped. So from here on, I'm proposing to change to a blog type post rather than an accounting one. The change is probably as good as a rest!!

Since I was on here last, we had our amazing trip away at the beginning of February. Absolutely brilliant. There was a sort of lull in the perpetual war between DH and DD2! We had all four kids together plus DD1's OH (still working on the loving him bit but getting better!) - was worth every penny just to have everyone sat around one table again. I really enjoyed it.

Towards the end of the trip I started getting a bit fluey - and then it hit me like a sledge-hammer, sort of wiping me out for the best part of a fortnight. Regretably not my appetite, and whilst lying in my bed watching all sorts of daytime rubbish, I managed to gain 4lbs according to weightwatchers last night (**sob**) anyway - my own fault, I troughed the maltesers, so no-one to blame but me.

I'm trying to sort out an October mini-break for me and DD3 - at her request. Everyone else will be away, so might be lovely to have some quality time just with her for the first time.

Have been posting on another thread about a quandry regarding DD2 going off to Uni - how much should I contribute towards the costs. Seem to be coming out the other end of that worry, but will seriously skint me for the next four years!

I need to rework the page 1 menu as everyone has had enough of that choice now - so that will be my task for today.

Anyway, that's sort of brought you up with what's happening in my life. Thanks for the continued support.

So there I was all ready to be good, and I got home last night and DD3 said "I'm starving, we never have any snacks in this house" - after pointing out that apples and bananas counted as perfectly suitable snacks I duly gave in and spent £13 in ASDA on pure chocolate, biscuits and cakes!

OF COURSE I ate one (well two!) - I'm still under the weather!

Did give me the chance to get the Xmas savings card though, so that was a bonus!

Up at 2:30 for the travelodge sale and managed to get a week away in October booked for £89! However, also booked one cancellable room in May for DH for the footie if he gets these champions league tickets - would get a refund though if he doesn't manage. Wow - that was £100!!!!! Mad.

Another months gone by with very little updates from me - other than to say I've not really kept to the programme again!! I so need a new lightbulb moment. I'm creeping away at debt, but not with the same enthusiasm and vengeance as I did last year!

Account updated - at least I'm keeping that reasonably up to date. Still need to do the bank totals as that should at least have gone down.

Well, of all the disastrous tracking and off-track for this year, a glimmer of positiveness in an otherwise bleak achievement! I've finally reached my goal weight in weight watchers.

Hooray for something good to tell you :-)

I withdrew £50 from the cash machine last night and have got absolutely nothing left! How that works out is beyond me!

Life at home is ultra stressful planning for party time (which is using up every last drop of available money!)

DD3 is constantly "can I get, can I get" - my life has turned nuts! And why won't Tescophoto work!

**Sigh** - it's gonna be one of thems days!
