    Day 4 (Year 2) - Tuesday 4th January 2011

Money Spent Today: £46 Petrol :eek: - £35 Mr T's (incl 9 Xmas Stockings for next year!!!) - £7 wrapping paper from M&S
Crap Eaten Today: 70g bag of maltesars!!! biscuits etc.
    *H/L Score: 8/10
Weekly Weigh In at WW (Target 10st, 10lb) Last Weigh in 11st, 0.5lb - still to go 4.5lb (next weigh in 10/01)
    Exercise: zumba

    What a lazy day.

Got on with some knitting, tidied up last of the washing and ironing and put the finishing touches on tidying the house (well, DH did the majority!).

Had to go out in the evening to collect DD from station, so did the shoppign whilst out.

When did petrol become 126.9p per litre in a supermarket!!!! That is nuts beyond belief. Cost me £46 to fill up a 1.1 car? Crazy. Okay, so I'm finally getting the message that public transport might be the only option, although will try and hold off until the summer.

Am getting really worried about January finances - haven't yet bought DH's birthday present and funds getting very very low (although I have the idea of what I would like to buy!)

Have got the 'what' bit sorted, but not the how to pay for it (hee-hee!!!). Perhaps if we banned all January birthdays we'd be okay, I'm sure I had this dilema last year as well!

Getting ridiculous now and dreading the next weigh in - it will be suitably horrific I'm sure!

Tonight was awful - snow / hail / sleet ... and that was just in the lounge!

    Paid 12p unfair library fine!

Trudged around in the snow, but not very far! Did the weekly shop and then got my first Xmas 2011 savings card - i am going to do so much better.

Totally wrecked NYR already by booking DH's birthday present on credit card. Have now taken said card and locked it in the safe out of harms way. Can't believe I've failed in less than one week! But am looking forward to birthday!

    Exercise: Short Walk

Went to church in the morning, and then set off on lovely snowy walk, but couldn't find the start (or the middle or finish) so ended up doing a popular other walk before having nice dinner at friends house.

Bought numerous scrap books for Xmas gifts this year, start to make them now.
