Parents visiting from overseas next week - maybe not though as flights may not allow it (volcanic ash). One of DD's has a hefty exam tomorrow - don't know who's more stressed, her or me???

Left the house at 06:15 and got in at 20:00 so missed Zumba. Had to buy a train ticket to go to work meeting plus incidental expenses! Can reclaim, but need to knock it off total.

Ended up going to bed at 21:00 absolutely shattered!

In Mr T's for opening at 08:00. Round Grans at 08:30 dropping off her shopping! Dropped DD3 at school. Home for 09:15 and BF there (1st anniversary of her lovely dad's passing ), did some catch up work then went for lovely walk on the beach with her. Picked up wads of children at 3:30 and drove to holiday camp. Settled in to wonderful place, played lots of game, met lots of new people! Didn't sleep - was far too much fun going on! Parents arrived - but I wasn't there to see them!

In work early, so home early. Very sore throat (again!) Had to go and get more groceries for visitors, but have meal planned the entire week, and hopefully have enough in to keep us going!

Had a lovely night playing games round the table.

Remember the school trip from a month ago that was ummed and ahhhed over, and eventually we said no .... errrr.... well DD2 got a job and is going to pay towards the trip, hence the massive amount of unplanned cashback going on!

Need to pay a total of £715. I've paid £60, she's paid £30 so far. Will add it to the savings totals on page 1. Sorry ... I know, breaking strain of a kit kat!!!!

Oh I am so grumpy! Had the day off from work. Had to pay out lots of money for B&G trip from account. Didn't work and ended up £110 down because needed to put into Euro's! Very complicated, but I understand - honest!!! Oh well, up to 305E for holiday anyway, and trip is all sorted.

Had to call first ambulance of my B&G career tonight! Wee one was fine thank goodness! Note to self, ban children from playing on bins!

Oooh, nother Zumba Class!

Got taken out for megga yummy lunch - wow - at least a zillion calories in it! Mums are the best aren't they!

Yay - finally used that blasted patio set for the first time! Weather unbelievably stunning, so to the beach we headed ... and returned as total lobsters! Yes, total lobsters! Had a fabulous time though, really good!

BBQ was lovely too!

Finally managed to catch up with MSE - sorry everyone! So difficult when you have visitors to get 2 minutes to catch up! Will be back to normal next week!

Final visitors day and night! Off to the shops for gardening stuff - re-did all the borders / pots etc. and now have a glowing shrubs bed, plus some nice fruits and herbs etc.:)

All bikes fixed - finally!!! Yippeeeeee. And, pillows bought ... finally! Oooh, what a difference :-)

However, the down side is I have spent an absolute fortune - my biggest cash splash of the year

Had a yummy chinese meal bought for us last night (mmmmm) which was delicious. So much for losing weight :rotfl:

Had day at work I'd rather hadn't happened! Funding for new job not there, so looks like will be changed in the future (just as was getting really into it!!).

Came home and house a tip after visitors have left, pulled together a bitsa tea - and then decided to head off to Zumba to try and work off the ice-cream. Now showered etc.

Just done Junes finances - they're not brilliant. I seem to be gradually slipping back into the bad old ways - need to reign it in a bit. Still need to check monthly total, but hopeful that some reduction at least has been made!
