If mine has a similar amount in when I open mine I'll be saving it.[/QUOTE]
I would too, :A then I might spend a bit once I've seen the nice number on my bank account :rotfl:

I'm hoping to have a full time decently paid job by the time I get mine filled and be saving towards a house deposit, so fingers crossed it'll be a nice boost towards that. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Can't reweigh it as my tin now weighs over 2kg.
But the empty one weighs 109g
Two £2 coins weigh 24g or 12g each.
So in theory my tin as at least 157 coins in it assuming 2kg=2000g= (157x12)+109
I'm going to seem really sad, but I'm going to use your calculations above to try and figure out roughly how many coins I have...will let you know when I've calculated (will be later on as I'm not at home right now)...:rotfl:VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

If you're sad for doing the calculation how sad am I for working out the figures in the first place .....:rotfl: btw the tin is the 15cm tall one - I also have a 'giant' one which is 22cm tall but I've not started using that one yet (frankly the idea of filling it terrifies me I doubt when filled I could even lift it)It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

we have decided to pay for some of our wedding with our saved £2 coins, originally it was just going towards my dress (we are half way to that at the moment) my my future MIL has said she will buy my dress so it can go towards something else like the church :0)0

Well I calculated and it seems that I would have roughly £130 - £140 :j:j:j
Didn't think it would be that much, so I'm well chuffed, like I said though, I don't think the tin is even 1/4 full yet!
And yes, scubaangel, it's the smaller tin I have too, I think it would take me forever to fill the large one!VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
:)three more this weekend - £86 in total with the other bits I've stashed away Christmas is covered and some:)If you can't take responsibility for it, you'll always be a victim.

Still putting the £2 coins into the tin when ever I get any.
Have recently had about 10 of them but none this week ......so far but it is only Tuesday yet
Would love to count them but will resist as want a lovely surprise when I do open it.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Three for me this morning, one very kindly donated from OH - usually he makes me 'buy' them off him for 2 £1's :rotfl:
Roughly £136 in the tin now, but can't be certainVSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0
