Pity the paper bill had got so big before I paid itIf you can't take responsibility for it, you'll always be a victim.

Hi, can I join please?
I've been saving my £2's since January, in one of those sealed tins from poundland, it feels heavy but my guess is it is probably only about a quarter full :rotfl:
I wanted to open it, count them and put them back in a new tin but my OH says that's cheating and not allowed...VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

6?!?! I very rarely get more than 2, but on the odd occasion it does happen I don't seem to get anymore for weeks afterwards...
You've been saving roughly the same amount of time as me, any idea how much you've got in the Mad Catter?!VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

Well it wasn't just good luck! I had garnered two during the day, and my fiance one, and then we got another 3 in the evening....but then I've nobbled the bar staff in our local pubIf they have £2 coins...and our change is enough...they give them to us! Simples! Although, as you can see, it gets a tad expensive sometimes
You know I have no idea what's in the Mad Catter's belly! We're up to his neck now though, so not long before we can empty him out. I wouldn't be surprised if there's about £200 in there though...here's hoping!Mortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0
