    hi hypno
well done for recognising that you need time for you. whether it is running or some other me time....

I too am decluttering. Managed to move some boxes today that have been in our bed room for 18 months. no reason just no one else could be bothered to move them ahem...

hope 2010 is a great year for everyone

  • Hi Hypno, loving the new diary! It makes so much sense. I too am the main wage earner in our house with my husband working really hard but for not much money as well as looking after 3 kids and everything that goes with it. I never have time for me and I too am going to make 2010 the year when I start to consider me! Have a great new year! x
  • Happy New Year Hypno, thank you for your advice since my diary and encouragement.

I e-mailed Martin to wish him a Merry Christmas and thanks for creating this place as it seemed the polite thing to do during the festive period as this *looks around the vast virtual room in which she is stood* is all down to him, but I sent him a spelling mistake: 'bring' instead of 'brings'. Argh - why won't that bloody spellchecker download?! :(

Hello Hypno your diary was one of the very first I started reading a couple of years ago when I first stumbled across MSE.

I am amazed by how you have got your debt down to under 20K...and slightly paniced...when you are eventually debt free this year I really hope you still keep your diary going

Diaryland is part of my life - I don't think there will be any danger of me not having a diary - especially since I also have a large mortgage to tackle!!

can i say that you and flylady scare the bejezus out of me!

...vacuum the ground floor & put a load of laundry in...

now can i please go back to the nice warm spot under my rock???

    :D

    Sorry rtandon :o

I'm resorting to bribery with DD - have told her that she can go into town to spend her Christmas money/vouchers, but only once her room is done. If the car is done this afternoon I will run her in to the shops for a couple of hours - if the car is not done today, then I will have to find out when the buses are running........hers is now the only room that needs a major clearout, and once that is done, I should be able to keep chipping away at each room in turn and work at getting them completely decluttered over time :D

DS is now hoovering his floor - I don't think he was even aware that he HAD a floor before :o
