You know, I had that sheep sipping scene made into a sticky-backed plastic cover for the back of my laptop screen as it stops it from getting as horribly scratched as my old one was. It's great, but those who don't get the Shaun the Sheep addiction do occasionally look at me as though I am baarmy!

You're so right.. you need to look after yourself..even if that means a bit of indulgence from time to time.

I too am looking at the 'teens' from a carp start ..will I/won't I have a job?.. but am determined, now, that I, and the family will be ok.

we don't 'do' nye either, but last year went out for supper to friends house.. ended up with full dinner, again, .. but we enjoyed so there again tonight.. I insisted that I will take something.. & have been asked to take the chocolate dessert I made when they came to us last feb.. think I just used up all the left over cake, doused it in left over spirit & melted chocolate over it.. at least I hope that's what it was 'cos that's all i'm doing today, after work..hope it sets in time!

Thank you all for your lovely posts.......may 2010 be a good year for all of us :T

Today OH is at work this morning - we still have no car, so we need to get the lowdown on that, and I will be doing flylady (must find and post the list, hahaha!) and basically just getting ready for whatever this evening and tomorrow brings (hopefully, lots of rest!).

Egg is not yet sorted - I sent a "test" payment to the account to see if it was credited yesterday, and as yet it hasn't been, so I will leave it another couple of days over bank holiday and then give them a "gentle nudge" :rolleyes: Never ever take Egg's word that they have resolved a problem!

Off to do scratches, banking and find the flylady list......happy New Year's Eve everyone x
