  • Rushes in with apologies in hand (and cake but only got battyburg I'm afraid but it is a Welsh delicacy; honest) for being late for the new diary, excuse being I have been to my sisters as I only get to see her a few times a year.

Glad you have decided to take care of yourself at last. You really are an inspiration. I haven't had debt but live on a very low income and in 07 when i found your diary I was seriously ill and didn't know if I would be able to go back to work. Luckily I was and I am almost back to how fit I was before but I had to take a year off and thanks to this site and your and a few others I was able to manage and keep my spirits up.

So many thanks and hope that this is the year when we all become millionaires in health, family and friends if not in Money, though a bit of that would be good to, lol!
  • thought there was something wrong when i saw the last post on your diary was last night but YEH to a new diary. Thank you hypno for having such an inspiring thread, i LOVE your thread and am excited that this is going to be YOUR year.

with suggestions for what to call this decade, i just started a thread for a suggestion for the next decade, i think it should be called the

THRIFTIES..... i just feel our society has lost the plot with the spend spend spend mentality and i long for some of the thrifty ways that i am getting used to and wish others i know would do too. On top of that it is very MSE and seems to fit well with this site ..what do you all think?

Quick BB update: They only let you withdraw every 72 hours now, plus you can't deposit if you have funds to play with. OH currently has £13.90 in "cash" but we can't withdraw, so I guess that party is over :(

All the best to everyone for 2010, Mac :)
  • Aaaah!!! you moved when I wasn't looking! Thought it odd that diary had last been updated last night.

Happy New Year and sending you many positive vibes. Will be doing some diary reading tomorrow and catching up.
