    Well, I think that staying in armed with laptop, remote control, and chocolates would have been more lively than the "party" we have just returned from......

    So, it sorted of summed up the last decade nicely - ie something to put behind us and to look forward to this year as it surely can't be any worse :rolleyes:

    So, if there are any pringles left, chuck us over some of the sour cream and onion ones, and Happy New Year peeps x

    Happy New Year everyone and I hope that there are not too many sore heads this morning.

    DS is up for his paper rounds this morning, but has a hacking cough to greet in the new year.......he is off to France next weekend so I hope it is not going to hinder him by lingering. Will go and declutter the "medicine cupboard" shortly and see what appropriate linctus I can find.

    Today there are no plans - as I am sure is the case for the majority of the UK! A bit of a slummy day, although I will do my flylady list to maintain the momentum of the week. It is very icy outside so I have no desire to go very far, so the central heating and the kettle may be my closest allies today :D

    Scratchcards first, though, and check the banking......I will prob spend a happy hour or so doing the budgets and a bit of brainstorming for the year......I won't dare to pick a potential DFD at this stage, but I might try and work out the general timescale based on whats ifs and maybes :rolleyes:
