I certainly hope so! I think, however, that 2010 will see a huge amount of progress for lots of us on DFW. It's going to be a good one for many of us.

Nothing else to report - no one deposited large sums of money into my account overnight......and no one took large sums of money from my account overnight.......so life plods on

Hi & happy new year Hypno and friends,

Se has landed, not fully unpacked yet, but the aparthotel is very nice. Not sure how we'll manage to cook as it has an hi-tech induction hob and a steam oven, instructions only in FR/Ger/IT, not sure if my rusty french will cope or my even worse german!! Will definitely improve the languages, on television other than BBC and CNN world news nothing is in English, the closest was Ghostbusters II dubbed into German & The Horse Whisperer dubbed into French!!

You will be jealous Hypno, it's serviced, so cleaned weekly and fresh linen too!

Anyway, still following your example, so already done scratchies, and managed to start withdrawals total £15 from 2 bingo/scratchie accounts :)

Have a good day, and I hope DS recovers quickly.

Going exploring and food hunting shortly, there's supposed one food shop open in town today.

la la la, can't hear you, la la la :rotfl:

I am glad you have "arrived" and hope you soon work out the various foreign technical stuff. Good luck with the food hunting - I hope that you don't discover that everything closes down for 4 days at New Year!!!

I am currently writing two lists - one a meal plan based on the cupboards/freezer/minimal grocery shopping, and one of all the good things that happened in 2009.......making sure I don't forget that it is not all doom and gloom, and that our hard work and effort is paying off.

Oh, and it is snowing thick and fast now.....

I slept well too, shaun - just not for long enough  Ah well, anything is better than nothing :o

We had a hard frost overnight, and the snow has just started to fall and forming a thin layer - I can see blue sky though, so I don't think we will get much of it, and certainly not enough to make snowmen, or even snowballs......but enough to make me decide I want to stay in the warm!
