I think the main difference being debt free has made is that I don't check the bank first thing in the morning now...in fact, today, i've only just checked it!!! Old habits die hard though and I still struggle to spend money. We have to save up first!! If only i'd been like that years ago!!

Talking of jaffa cakes - DS was given a gift pack of 4 packets of jaffa cakes for his birthday. In my defence they were half price and he loves them!!! xx

The best thing is when debt free we'll have learnt all these valuable skills along the way that we'll end up with our money working really hard for us...and nowt wrong with that.

Ooh, I think I will always check my bank accounts online first thing in the morning.......It is a bit of an addiction now :o

And if I was given jaffa cakes for my birthday, it would be a significant improvement on some presents I have received (or not received, as the case may be)

  • I'm going to start wrapping up turnips :) Actually did for my sister last year, she dared me to come up with a present she had never had and for under £1...so i did, and the ribbon was free! ;)
