Ditto! I have lots of people trying to play on my sense of kidness by telling me about their lost cows etc. If I started playing that, I would never get off t'interweb. :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

macgirl - I'd second the idea of wrapping up household gifts for presents. When I was married we did this one Christmas, neither of us knowing what the other had wrapped up. It was actually very funny, though it doesn't translate well - it's like telling your mates you play b1ngo
:rotfl:
Pretty much everything we wrapped up came from the kitchen since that was the only place we had unopened/unused stuff - including the wooden spoon, and the unopened *new* washing up liquid, packet of lentils etc. Very daft really, but we were in a dreadful situation financially and there was truly no chance of anything new. It didn't really matter though as we were madly in love :T Happy times0 -
Just looking at your sig Hypno..you're so close to the £17ks0

Hiphouse, I am glad that it made sense to someone!! It is a useful thing, if you can do it with humour......and it is one of those things to share with the grandkids...."remember when we were so poor, that we had to wrap up oxo cubes for birthday presents"
taxi.....am getting there - but I am impatient and want it to be gone a bit quicker :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
