Glad your student arrived OK Hypno and I work on the assumption that no news is good news when the kids have been away!

Morning H, fingers crossed today isn't expensive for me please....have to take car back to garage as engine management light is on! Done scratches and just playing some free bingo, keep winning but not enough to take me up to £20 to withdraw!

Hope you have a good day

    Good morning Hypno & friends,

Virgin is down for essential maintenance, so their scratchies on hold this morning. OH won £5 on his other one though :) Unfortunately not enough there yet for a withdrawal.

Hiphouse - thanks for the update, I was wondering yesterday how Em was doing, but didn't have time to check on the thread until now. Hope the hospital manage to improve the cast so she can sign, it must be strange and frustrating for all of you.

Still experimenting with some sites. One thing I have discovered is some cash sites only have UK licences, so you can still play etc when on holiday (watch out in US, I think different rules there), but you can't withdraw. They spot it by detecting the non-uk isp. So if you're going on holiday or working abroad etc don't assume you can access the bingo sites cash.

morning all.....macgirl, you can have a lot of fun just wrapping up what is in the house.....re-wrap Christmas presents if necessary....things that I would include are a toilet roll, that tin of mixed veg that is at the back of the cupboard that you have no idea why you have even got it, an oxo cube.....that sort of thing.

No.....macgirl was struggling to find the money to buy OH a birthday present for tomorrow, so I came up with an alternative plan so he has presents to unwrap!

We've just had a bit of snow - not much, but it is bloomin cold.....my Norwegian still thinks we are a bunch of wusses though :o

Nothing to report - still positive about things, still remaining reasonably energised and able to deal with the general stress (most of the time, anyway), and my croaky throat didn't amount to anything more than a day of extreme tiredness and a weird voice, so that is good too..... Generally speaking I am on top of things at work, and I need to keep that momentum going.

I'm on track for my hoped-for NSD, but do need to go to the bank for DD at lunchtime to pay in her Christmas money that is left over....so must not head into any shops with lovely sales on when I am out.
