Well done, Hypno! :) It's nice to see that you both have some new things which will make you feel happy. Beware that DS doesn't start to put in his demands as well, though, cos he feels left out. ;)

Morning, what a good day yesterday :j

I love red - I would have an entire red wardrobe if I could get away with it, I even chose red as my businesses colour :D

Now which colour will you wear todayn- such a dilema :A:rotfl:

DS is far from left out, pickle - he came home with a letter about a school trip to London.........

Friday today. Different for me, in that tonight is the first night the children are staying at their dads......so I get a night off :D So, what have I planned......probably a catch up with flylady and a go at the budgets  Ooh, the excitement.....I will be sending them away more often :rotfl:

So, banking and scratching first....4 days til payday, and boy do I know it!!

Have a good one, everyone xx

    Morning Hypno...
Enjoy your night off tonight, will be a little strange so although you might be excited, please don't beat yourself up if you are a little sad too.

Still over a week until payday for me and I could really do with it being today, that and getting some letters finalising what payments I shall get. Hate being in the dark, like you are with Halifax!

Well, my online banking shows a new mortgage figure.......dare I think that it could be correct?! It looks about right, so I will take it as being so for the moment, although the monthly payment is still showing as exactly the same as before, so they obviously haven't updated that part yet.

So, later today I can work out exactly how much I owe, and to whom. A new snowball will be started, a new signature created, and a new chart of squares will be ready for the colouring pencils :D

Well done on the mega bargains Hypno. Your capsule wardrobe is coming together, just different elements :) Sounds like DD's dress is super too, do we get a pic of it and of course the coats too?

Not sure if it's naughty to suggest it, but are you going to keep an eye out online and in the shop in case the original handbag get's reduced further? It might be your next 7lbs treat after all, instead of the shoes!!

One 20p, other than that 10ps again today on the scratchies.

Stuck to the diet yesterday which was good. Got to try to do the same today. We fly back 6 weeks today, so would love to be pleased when I weigh in back home. Started doing exercise again now the bug is shifting, just got to try to up it again to where it was before.

Glad you are feeling better, se.

I will certainly keep an eye out for the bag at a bargain. I think it is more about "allowing" myself to spend money on ME, and what I actually spend it on, doesn't really matter - as long as I am giving myself a target and permission to treat myself.

I do think, though, that I need a "clothes" budget in my SOA - I've never had one, and it shows. I don't need to spend much, but I do need a certain amount of leeway now I think, and will be working on the budgets this evening.

When you're budgetting we have different Categories, there's OH's work clothes/shoes, then seperately there's a joint budget for shoes and a seperate joint one for clothes. Not sure what would work for you, but it seems to work for us. You'd probably need a seperate element for ski clothes.

Good luck with the budgetting tonight.
