In all of this, one thing we are agreed on is how we work with the children. They are our biggest priority. Anyway, then I went to Debenhams to look at prom dresses.....they had a Coast concession there which had some odds and ends of stuff in the sale. One of the things they had was the exact same dress that DD tried on Saturday, but in a different colour (deep red).....and half price
So I grabbed it, got to the till, and noticed that the detachable spaghetti straps, had become permanently detached and lost......so I mentioned it and got another 10% off :T
So, DD has a perfect dress, for a very bargainous price.
PLUS, on the way to the till, I passed some jackets that looked mysteriously like the ones I tried on in Lewins......at the bargainous price of £38......so I picked up one in red, and one in black
So, no handbag, but a successful little spree which I am very very pleased with (as is DD, of course!!).

Now I just have to focus on making the budgets stretch in order to take these spends into account
The mortgage is "getting there".......today they repaid the secured loan out of the "new" mortgage, but they still couldn't tell me how much I would be borrowing in total, or how much my monthly payments will be.

They are unbelievable considering it takes seconds to move money to different accounts yet they take forever...Perhaps they do one bit and spend the rest of the day on MSE.LOL..perhaps it will be done by tomorrow.0
