None whatsoever, but if it's anything like the demise of the video, Blu Ray and BR payers will start being sold cheaper, DVDs will decrease and then they will stop selling DVD players and then it will be hard/expensive to find someone to repair DVD players. Maybe it won't be so bad as they are all discs, but it gets very un-:money: and annoying! Please call me 'Pickle'

so sorry to hear about your mum Surfbabe, big (((hugs))) coming your way...
sounds like a profitable day Hypno...
spent £11.50 out of my £20 today on a necklace and t-shirt that jumped into my hands in Matalan.... and it wasn't until i came out that i realised i wasn't meant to be spending money..... so £8.50 to last me longer than others £200 -
My £20 will not last beyond Tuesday, as I am going out with a couple of friends for dinner - we have a voucher for 2 courses at Zizzis for £10 which is not bad, so as one of them has a birthday next week, it seems like a good excuse to go out and have a reasonably cheap meal.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi all,
Surfbabe, sorry to hear your news.
In slightly more cheerful news, I watched the first 25 minutes of Independence Day and the break was the best bit (where the kablamo's are happening and the dog runs ahead of the flames even though everyone at the same distance is being blown away!)... Funniest non-funny moment in a movie... EVER!!! :rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
Walshy, I have never watched Independence Day - in fact, there are very few films I have watched really,.......I would be no good in the "films" category on a pub quiz team
I've got hand cream in - so that's ok....in fact, I am pretty much ready to get decorating so hopefully tomorrow I can make a start.....I'll probably start with the en-suite because it is a small room but definitely could do with brightening up a bit.....and I should be able to do it, ceiling and all, in a day.....without causing too much disruption elsewhere.
But I am def going to go for a run first thing.....and DS has a football match for the village (away) which may take up my morning, so it is a good job it is a small room I am planning on doing as I may not be able to start until after lunch.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Surfbabe - so sorry about your mum. Take care.
Hypno - I love painting and decorating - very theraputic. Nothing needs doing here but my best mate is moving soon and we're already discussing colour schemes - I'll be round in my scruffs to help her. I could have so been into interior design on a shoestring LOL

Why is it that I can't seem to manage more than one good night's sleep in a row? I have been awake with a claggy throat on and off during the night so am feeling like bleurgh this morning, but I will go for my run in an hour or so and see if I can blow it away in the cold air!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
