I'm glad that you are eating again, have you lost much weight through all of this? I'm doing slimfast at the moment, 4 days in and could quite happily devour anything with food and the person attached to the end of it!!! thank goodness there is no money in at all in my purse or the vending machine would be getting it!!!!

surfbabe - sorry to hear your sad news :grouphug:

hypno - another dishwasher powder preference here, you can adjust the amount you use to the min. to wash things properly, without the fuss of trying to split tablets. I found lidl did a really good cheap one :) If you've got a lidl it's worth a trip there for the cheap fruit and veg too, aldi's is normally good for that too. But don't know what shops you've got near you.

Forgot about Lidl, they also do the cheapest loo rolls, if you're not into the posh ones, they do big packs of 100% recycled ones, you can always tell visitors you're into being green.

For holiday's I've done houseswaps before, with no problems, you can get them to ski areas too, basically your cost is down to fuel, plus ferry plus travel insurance if you swap in europe, plus the cost of registering with a site. Can't wait to swap again when we get a house again :)

Surfbabe I was so sorry to hear your news. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Hypno I have been following you for the last few days. I relate to what you say about it hitting you soon. I still don't think it has hit me fully yet. Take care of you.

Forgot to say the main houseswap trick I found was to swap with a family with kids the same age, e.g. your house is geared up for teenagers and not babies or toddlers, so your 2 would find bedrooms full of baby toys bad, and your house wouldn't work for the younger ones either.

I was on a deep green kick for a long, long time - but having been ill like this for so long, it really made me reconsider - I've always disliked the dishes, and now that the efficiency is so high, it doesn't make sense not to. Still not going to bother with getting one in this house tho.

Hope your day goes well, Hypno. :)
