I have made a pact with myself to buy one nice thing for myself every month. It might be clothing, perfume, a new bedspread, anything really as long as it is not "essential".......it need not be expensive, but it must be FOR ME :) I cannot afford to be silly over it, as the budget just won't allow, but I will somehow manage to find a little extra to do this.

Sounds like a very good idea, might try that too :)

Admittedly when we eventually find the house, there's going to be so many 'things that would be just right', that it won't be much of a problem then :o

I like this idea... remember from your organising book - you should love it and it should be beautiful!

  • Hi Hypno

I love the idea of you buying one inessential item just for yourself every month.

Think I might join you and will post and let you know what I;ve bought no matter how silly.

Excellent idea, when I do go to town for whatever reason I treat myself to a starbucks firstly then a trip to either Lush for nice bath stuff or paperchase for a pretty notebook (can't help it I have a thing about stationary:o) neither of which break the bank.

Mind you, you will probably need to treat yourself to clothes bearing in mind your weight loss or will they come under necessaties............:rotfl:

Alas, sleep evaded me again last night, humph.

That's understandable given the circumstances, and not something in your control.

I hope decent meals have not being evading you - that is something in your control.
