We're ok - tired but ok.....just emotionally worn out I reckon! DD has a friend over and they are tucking into a bowl of chips, so she is happy for now. I've come home and done a bit of flylady in the kitchen, and will do a little more later this evening as I cook myself something to eat.....I am determined to get this house spotless and nice to come home to for me and the children - and as a fair amount of decluttering has been done for me, it should be a lot easier than my usual efforts!

I've had a NSD, so a good start to the month, moneywise.....mind you, it is just as well really as there is not going to be a great deal of surplus anywhere!

I've managed to pick up a mystery shop for one of my days off at the end of the week - by the time I have paid petrol, it should give me a profit of £7 or so, so that makes it worth getting the car out.....although if the weather is dry, I may bus and walk (its a long walk from the bus stop, but doable if it is not raining/snowing/icy) and save a few more pennies that way, gaining some exercise at the same time! We shall see......its the first M/s that I have managed to get this year, and I hope a few more follow as I could certainly do with the extra!

I'm aiming to put the "MSE money" into my savings to try and build up an emergency reserve.......once I have put enough away for typical car repairs, boiler servicing/repair etc I will then start thinking about the bits that need doing to the house to make it into somewhere I want to stay.....

Hope you have all had a good day, and that your £20s are generally still intact, or almost intact.....

Hypno, glad you're day was ok. Have you got things planned for your days off at the end of the week so you are kept busy - although saying that I know that you are ALWAYS busy.

You really have been in my thoughts all day today, I nearly told someone about you but then I realised that they would have no idea who you were!

Hoping the decluttering helps clear you head xx

Hugs to you too, surfbabe - at least in the situation I am in right now, we are still fit and well, and for that we are all grateful.

    xx
