Morning. ((passes nice big mug of coffee))
Good to see the payment come through, although painful. It amazes me that DD didn't know anything yet was living at home while DS was away. I wouldnt have been able to keep up appearances like you have.
A quick march to the bus, killer heels in your bag of course, will hopefully clear the cobwebs.
Off to lock my £20 away, its the only way I'll win :eek:0 -
I slept the sleep of the exhausted last night - well, until about 5 anyway, which is much better than nights of late, but I feel very groggy today. Hopefully I can get a few more hours sleep in over the next few days and start to regain some sort of balance.
I know it's not the same, but when OH starts working away after a spell at home, it takes me about 3 weeks to get back to normal sleep patterns, starting off with only an hour or 2 for a few nights, then as yours last night only sleeping when exhausted, but it gradually does get back to normal. So it's probably just a matter of accepting the normal sleep will return eventually. Until it did I watched the most awful rubbish on late night TV when I ran out of decent DVD's to watchMight be worth trying to borrow a few good DVD's, the TV was really that bad.

Well, I am hoping that if I can get a bit of sleep over the next couple of nights, then when I am off work on Thursday and Friday, I will have the energy to blitz the house - proper deep clean, which should be reasonably "easy" as there is much furniture missing so I can get to the skirting boards etc.....and to also perhaps go for a run or at the very least a decent walk.
So, just need to get through these next few days at work......simples:cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Not as yet, se, but we are still plagued with snow and ice, so we don't expect any change until the weather improves. DD is happy enough at the moment, because she can coach skiing instead (unpaid, but enjoyable!) when she is not working, and as she is off to Norway in a couple of weeks, it will probably be best if she just starts back in the spring anyway.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, I've only just logged on and seen your news. I am so so sorry for you. You do seem to be doing all the practical stuff and I hope you are letting people comfort you as well, as I am sure you are hurting more than we can imagine.
Your husband has no idea how lucky he is/was to have you and for you to deal with this in such a civilised way.
Thoughts really are with you. You have always been supportive to me and others and now we can support you.
