Admiring the way things are being handled by you all. That's a BIG change you are all going through. And no doubt you are all shell shocked - which is probably the understatement of the year so far LOL

Hang on in there - when I said yesterday life begins at 40 - I merely meant you will have good years ahead - hard to see now in the midst of this carp - but with your positive attitude - YOU WILL - you won't be able to take away what's happened - but it will go on to make you even stronger than you are now - IS there anyone stronger than superwoman???? Big hugs and positive vibes coming your way.

Don't overdo things and make yourself ill on top of everything else.

hi hypno so sorry to hear your news - Hugs!

You sound incredibly organised and seem to have got a lot done in a really short amount of time. Make sure you look after yourself and spend time with friends for some support too.

You will get through this - but I know in your place I would be devastated - so don't feel bad about taking some time to grieve amidst all the practicalities.... Celebrate any positives or small victories.... Perhaps keep a private, non-cyber journal too to record how you really feel. I have found that helped me when I didn't want to over-burden those around me or was trying to keep up the proverbial brave face....

Of course you have us here .... we care.... and if there was any practical way we could help we would - sadly Norwich is a bit far away from here.... but if you ever travel closer to the middle of England.....

    Hugs again!

Thank you again, everyone, for all your support. thank you thank you thank you.

So, February is here....pinch, punch and all that, and we have to cobble together something resembling "order" in the hypno house - DS is home again and has a couple of weeks at school before he goes away for more training, so it will be an odd couple of weeks for him.....DD is glad she is not covering his paper rounds again, so she is kidding herself that she has got more time to faff about in the morning before school - I am sure she will be less organised now than she was when she had to do DS's round too!

I will be getting the bus in to work - it is cheaper than running my car, when there is just me to factor in, but that means leaving the house a few mins earlier......etc etc etc.

I slept the sleep of the exhausted last night - well, until about 5 anyway, which is much better than nights of late, but I feel very groggy today. Hopefully I can get a few more hours sleep in over the next few days and start to regain some sort of balance.

So, banking done, and my first maintenance payment is in from OH (for February) so that was a bit odd to see, on an emotional level, but on a practical level it shows that he is organised too. Nothing else to report finance wise.

New day, new start......oh, and the small matter of a £20 note to make last as long as possible!

    Hi,

Another long time lurker. I check in and get inspired by your every day. So sad to read your news over the weekend. As a single parent, like you not by choice, I am a widow….its a tough job. But …if any one can do it and do it well, I know you can. Am sure like many others, thinking of you and hope you have an OK day.
