  • Hi all,

Just a warning to really check your confirmation letters when you get them.

I have got a weekend break at Haggerston Castle in October, in the Sun Park guide it states that the entertainment passes are free for under 5's, and there is no gas or electricity charge (terms and conditions state that this is included in price unless it states in details that it is a token or coin meter).

I have just got my confirmation today, and it is charging me £19.00 for a power add on and £19.50 for entertainment passes. I have just phoned them and they say that because it is a discount holidayI have to pay for my 3 year old to have a pass, and they are charging for power, not gas and electricity. Whe I asked what happened if I didn't pay for the power add on, they said I wouldn't have any gas or electricity!!!! Surely this is what they have just said I didnt have to pay for? When I asked to speak to a manager about the difference in power and electricity they cut me off. Am I going to get there to find a windmill or something?????

Can someone also please let me know where I find the holiday parks online on the Sun website?

In the SUN booklet, for Haggerston, it states service charge £6.50 per unit, per night.... so I don't think you can argue with that

but it definitely says UNDER 5's FREE entertainments pass,so I would not be happy to be charged!!

    Hi all,

Anyone know what a 'Main Season supplement (inclusive)' is?

Got one on our bill and seems a bit shoddy..

    Our bill has

    Accomodation - £38 - Fair enough (9.50 holida)
Entertainment and Facilities Pass -£42.00 (fair enough bit steep but what else you gonna do 10.50)
    Power Charge - £19.50 - Fair enough i guess (4.75 each)
Linen - £14.00 - £3.50 each and saves us bringing ours so fair enough

    But also we have:

main season supplement (inclusive) £22.00 charge.

is this cause we going during june time? I love how the sun holidays go from £9.50 each to £33.87 each. Still good deal and am looking forward to it :).

    Cheers

it stated that certain dates eg may, june, july, sept are £15 per person instead of the £9.50 for the rest of the dates. It states "from...." £9.50 / £15 ,as of course unless you get the ones with FREE passes and charges, then it's going to be more than that per person!
