Just got my confirmation through and the park and dates are fine. However the upgrades are extortionate! Much dearer than online and also dearer than the brochure. The basic price is around the same so we havent saved anything at all on online prices - although is cheaper than brochure. I phoned them to check it was correct and they said yes and that it quite often works out more expensive. It also states from £20 to extend for a week - well that worked out loads more than brochure price. Not very impressed and wont be booking this way again. Oh well, you live and learn!

Our cheque has been cashed but we have heard nothing, we've been ringing the 08445439743 number since 9am and it's engaged. We've managed to get put in a queue but have then been cut off 6 times!!

Does anyone know an alternative contact number please.

    Thanks

Finally got through and our holiday is the 12th March!
Anyone know what the Bunn Leisure parks in Selsey are like please lol
  • I wonder if anyone could help me, I moved house inbetween receiving my priority booking form in the post and sending it off. I put my new address on the back of the form but Haven have sent my confirmation letter and booking details to my old address, where my ex-partner has opened it. The park is Devon Cliffs. Could anyone else who's booked here please let me know what information is on the letter you received from that park, ie does it list the names of the people in your party etc? Thank you :)

We still haven't had our confirmation from the park yet :( 'Think I'll leave it until next week to phone as it sounds like the phoneline is red hot!

Worried your ex will try to use the holiday? I'd just ring Devon Cliffs directly if you know which dates you have.

I think it just states the lead booking name and number of people. Could be wrong though as that is just from memory.

We sent off 3 lots of tokens for weekends throughout the year & so far have had 1 back booked (somewhere in Cornwall) & 1 rejected with the option to rebook online. Pretty chuffed about that to be honest as now have option to book online in Europe. Third one we are still waiting on & expect that will come in the next week.

I'm a bit confused. Did you not price it before you booked it with The Sun?

You'll notice a lot of people on here get there prices from on-line before the date to book so we all know how much we are saving and are armed with dates which we know we will make a saving on - that's the whole idea after all. I booked 2 holidays over two different bank holidays and priced on the Haven web-site was over £300 for one of them and around £280 for the other. If it didn't work out any cheaper I wouldn't have booked it.

The moment the tokens come out you can start pricing and hopefully next time you'll be reaping the rewards :j

Yay, well I managed to get through to the hotline today, and found that we have been allocated a caravan with Eurocamp. The guy I spoke to was adamant that on the webform, there is the option to select caravan / tent / either, with the default set to either, but I really don't recall seeing that! Anyway, all well that ends well. :T They don't even have the most basic model at that park, so hopefully it will be better than some of the caravans we've stayed in too :D

And for those who don't think there's a saving, I checked the Eurocamp website and the accomodation only price is over £1k!

I didnt check it out as thoroughly as I would usually have done as I was away visiting family at the time. But I think they have gone down online recently. Im just surprised at how much the upgrades were. That was at Park Resorts though so maybe its different with other companies. Thanks.
