I got my confirmation this morning, with all the added suppliments its a lot more than I expected. It says I can take £20.00 off for linen which I will as were taking our own, but there is also 3x complex passes added on, surely if you dont want to use any facilities there you shouldnt have to pay? I thought this was optional but there is no mention of it being optional and only a cut off strip to pay the remaining balance. We were planning to use the caravan only for sleeping and spending our days out and about, our kids are only small so we wouldnt be using any club rooms. This is for Solway Holiday village if anyone has been before and knows the set up then id appreciate any advice. thanks

i checked my bank yesterday and my cheque has been cashed yippee!!. anyone know how long before i know where we'll be going?i did a postal application.

I 'm gonna check later on to see if our cheque has been cashed. As my dates are all for setember through to october, then we may not have been allocated a holiday yet.
It seemed to take for ages for us to get our confirmation last year when we did it by post, and our dates were for later in the year then as well.
I sent off my tokens as soon as token 10 was printed in the paper. Here's hoping:)

I got my first choice of date and third choice for the park (Ocean Edge in Heysham) so I'm pretty pleased, it's the first holiday I've had in 5 years as I've been so skint.
