wouldn't have thought so through the sun- but might be worth giving the park a ring-some of them are quite helpful

I've been lucky in the past and been able to change dates with parks and sometimes have even been luck to change locations also. Not guaranteed though and I've found it helps if its a big company i.e. HAVEN

    Good Luck

    has anyone booked Haven ?
saw this posted on another forum ....

".... Has anyone recieved their confirmation through and tried to ring their park (HAVEN) to upgrade their caravan?
I tried this yesterday as we always upgrade to a van with heating otherwise it can be SO COLD (going early April) and they informed me that they are not allowing upgrades to better vans this year. I am gutted!! "

We always take a little plug in heater away with us and leave it switched on in the hallway of the van for the duration of the holiday. You've already paid your service charge so it's not going to cost you any extra for electric. Small heaters are not that expensive to buy (probably less than the cost of the upgrade) and if you use it more than once you are actually in profit if that's the only reason you upgrade

  • Hi All,

I know i'm the millionth person to ask and therefore my chances are extremely slim but I need a booking reference for online priority. I have the token codes just not the reference.

    Many Thanks

I got my confirmation this morning, with all the added suppliments its a lot more than I expected. It says I can take £20.00 off for linen which I will as were taking our own, but there is also 3x complex passes added on, surely if you dont want to use any facilities there you shouldnt have to pay? I thought this was optional but there is no mention of it being optional and only a cut off strip to pay the remaining balance. We were planning to use the caravan only for sleeping and spending our days out and about, our kids are only small so we wouldnt be using any club rooms. This is for Solway Holiday village if anyone has been before and knows the set up then id appreciate any advice. thanks

think this depends on park etc

as got my confirmation through for my 8 person booking and they had already upgraded , but offered a few more upgrades if I wanted

when i rang up and asked could i split the booking over 2 caravans ( have done this for last 4 yrs and just paid double ) , they said only way is I go through park which was £300 , so wouldve been sun one £90 haven 1 £300 , so i asked if they would be next to each other and she said id have to upgrade again adding £50 to sun one and £125 to haven one , so i then requested to be as close to clubhouse as possable as my girlfriend will be 7months pregnant and her eldery nan would be with us , again this would cost another upgrade so instead adding £99 to sun one and £175 to haven one , bringing it to £189 & £475 without linnen and passes ..lol

so i declined and rang the parents up luckily they had another sun code and I managed to get online and book a second van for 4 people at same park same days for under £50 ( bit better than £475 ) , so rang again halfed the linen in orig booking asked could a note be put on my name so when second booking comes through to put near other caravan , she said ring when got second booking and theres a charge of £10 if can be done.

so no wonder people do these through the sun ..lol
