You could ring the site up direct if you don't hear in a week or so. They should have your name and address so would be able to sort things out.

Last year (in a previous set of the Sun deals) I booked for us to go to the Isle of Wight at the end of April. So far I haven't sorted out a ferry crossing as I was told that there is some kind of deal that is done with the Sun/NOTW but can't find any information out about this.

Did you get the information sent through to you or did you sort it out separately. As for the times being awkward for you, we have got a feeling we are going to be in a similar boat (pardon the pun) and have already booked a travelodge for the night before in Portsmouth. Just need the ferry info now. Any help would be gratefully apreciated.

You usually get the discounted ferry offer in with your confirmation of your holiday. Then you book online with red funnel using the special code.Usually comes through in a couple of weeks from booking your holiday. If you haven't received it - I would check it out. HTH.

I did ring just after getting the confirmation of the holiday as I was wondering about the ferry then but was told that as it was last year they didn't have the dates available for after 1st January, think I obviously need to ring again. But thinking about it there was absolutely nothing with the confirmation about the ferry crossing so I've been in the dark the whole time.....

Usually you get sent the Red Funnel brochure with the confo - it has a reference number on it to use on the website. If The Sun cant help, phone the park itself & ask if they have a ferry deal. Most IOW accomodation has deals with the ferries, so they might be able to help. Last year the ferry was just over half price with The Sun deal so worth having.

Many thanks for that info, defo didn't get anything about the ferry with the confirmation but need to ring the park anyway as wanted to see about upgrading - asked last year but was told that they couldn't do anything till the new year. Just put it down to last season with both the ferry and the park. Job for me for tomorrow then. Thanks again.

well when i booked mine, as i progressed thru the booking it came up with option to book with or without ferry crossing included ov course i booked with ferry crossing as worked out slightly cheaper than booking seperate, also goin outbount i had to pay £5 extra pp for after 7am but before 2pm booking and ended up wi 7.30am ferry but have t b there at 7 at the latest.....
