    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
nothing here yet either, I go on the 13th Feb so wish they would hurry up as I want to try and upgrade
  • Hi
I booked our SUN European holiday online however it came to £30pp for a 7 night break as opposed to the £19pp that it asks you to send with the paper priority booking form, still excellent value I know just wondering why it was more moola. I have contacted the SUN 4 times now to ask without reply. Anyone on here know why it cost £120 and not £76?

    Thanks

Have a look at what the service charge per night is (which isn't optional), entertainment passes (optional) and bedding charges (optional) are, these are always charged direct by the park.

Could this be the extra amount?
  • Hi
I have been on one of the sun holidays and yeah I think there is generally a lot in the small print worth reading r.e extra charges. Still bargain holiday well done!

The brochure says free entertainment pass (don't think they have entertainment) Service charge is £6.50 pupn This would work out at £121.50 and if the service charge is charged direct by the park won't I have to pay this direct to the park?

Don't think they do bed linen on a Euro Hol...

Sis in Law asked if I had a caravan or TENT :( deary me I don't want a tent but it doesnt say on my confirmation how can I tell?

Is it in June or July - they are more expensive- payable to The Sun

UK hols are service charges payable to the park-haven't done European so don't know if they are the same

Did you opt for their insurance?

    From their FAQ page

    2. You will receive your holiday confirmation by February 25th, 2010 or, if unsuccessful, your payment will be returned by that date. If you have not heard anything by this date please telephone our hotline on 0844 543 9743 (calls cost 5p per minute from a BT land line and may be monitored or recorded for staff training purposes).

I do though go on the 19th Feb, but we'll hear first as their weren't many holiday parks with February dates available

Yup it's in late June going into July. I thought it might be that but where does it tell you? Couldn't see it on the website and the paper booking form doesn't mention date/price fluctuations it just asks you to send £19pp would they come back and ask for more once they agree your dates?

    No no insurance or ferry

Any idea on how I know if I got a tent or a caravan?
