after 3 hrs I finally got my sun holiday to butlins in june - 1st choice park & date... sooo happy!
I also needed to book another break though to meet family in yorkshire and I cannot express my appreciation enough to beckydee :A for providing all the necessary info to allow me to book a site in filey nr to family over easter - a snip at £92 compared to the parks quote of £300!!! Thankyou sooo much!
If you dont manage to get your sun holiday the daily mail offer is well worth a try!

    good luck!!
Many Thanks used the daily mail codes from the forum and got a four night break for 6 in a luxury caravan for £92. Absolutely thrilled

Maybe people are booking by post so therefore dont need a code.
Does anyone know if you have to put 5 locations and 5 dates or can you put less? Also when do postal booking forms have to be in by please?
    Thanks

The more dates / parks you put down the better, but you don't have to put 5 if you can't do 5
  • Firstly apologies if my questions have already been answered within the posts but this is the first time I've considered the sun holiday deal and it appears I'm already way off the pace!

    1) It looks as though I have to apply using the paper booking form and paper vouchers as this is the first time booking a Sun deal, is this right?
    2) I've seen from these threads that you can book to go overseas but the paper booking form only includes the UK, is that a restriction on first time bookings or could I consider overseas?
    3) I'm restricted to school holidays, am I too late to get a booking ANYWHERE?

Thanks to Rachie B who explained about the 5 available dates/parks - that was another of my questions!
  • Don't bother with sun holidays anymore as you can't get the school holidays, and parks can fill their units with full paying guests. We would do four different parks with the school hoilday dates and get nothing. One year the friends we went away with got online at 5am with the codes and tried to book in at numerous parks and got nothing for school holidays. We contacted the sun and they said the dates had gone, but they were never available.
  • by school holidays,do you mean july?

 we have usually managed to get school holiday dates, and if not then a fri - mon break the wkend before half term / holidays

you have to be quick though,as obviously school holiday datea are in high demand!! the site always opens early ( ie the day before it should ) and you have to be ready to book soon as it does!
