Mac and AOL

I'm the same here folks..... I access via an Imac, Mac pro & 2 PCs in our house.

AOL has been slowing down over the last few months .... I had problems & through tech support mangaged to get to a download speed of 1.7mbs...... latest test through Think Broadband speedtest shows this is down to 0.7mbs as a download speed & 0.3mps as an upload speed

This does coincide with the swap of access address to the diallbb.com address they asked me to use.....

Been with AOL for over 10 years but won't be for much longer ... will be getting my MAC code off them this week & looking elsewhere

To be honest I had no problem getting my MAC code when I telephoned AOL asking for it. It was emailed to my master sceeen name account within a day or two. This is probably the only good thing I can say about them though.

Many thanks to you all. I am definitely going to ditch AOL and have requested my MAC code. Looking forward to the end of these problems! I'l come back and let you know what transpires.

Just a quick update:
I have transferred to o2 and found the changeover very smooth. I was a pleasure to be able to talk to people were able to answer my questions without them following a script.
Even AOL managed to provide me with my MAC code within a hour of requesting it (maybe they were glad to get rid of me!!!!!)
