NOW it makes sense. That really was me being stupid. I hadn't seen the actual site.
Wait....
I posted the link to the site, and you went off on a 3 page rant without clicking the link to the site?

Nice one. Even by your standards.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Oh it's like that is it?
When i call for you (twice, I may add), you only read it and leave without response.
But now, your out all happy and clappy and muster up a response.0 -
that £500 is only equity wealth though - i'll stop now
Ahhhh, but equity wealth translates to more money in your pocket at remortgage time these days.
It's a brave new world, now that the banks are discriminating with rates based on amount of equity.
The difference between having 20% equity and 25% equity can mean a £4000 a year savings quite easily due to better mortgage deals available.
So equity is no longer just paper wealth..... It actually makes a big difference in the amount of cash in your pocket for anyone with a mortgage.
And that 5.9% HPI this year has therefore added a lot of money to a lot of peoples pockets, without a MEW in sight.
I do love a nice bit of HPI to end the year with....:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Yes, I just assumed you were being deliberately obtuse, so I ignored you.
Sorry, didn't realise you were genuinely thick.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Hmm I'd never thought of it like that, so equity really is wealth in a roundabout way, nearlynew's head will explode.
